Michael Jackson fans could soon be moonwalking to a whole lotta new songs -- at least that's the hope -- 'cause the late singer's estate is renewing it's logo for tons of merch, and the hope among fans is that it could be the prequel to a possible release of new tunes!!!

According to docs obtained by TMZ ... Michael's merch firm, Triumph International, recently filed renewal paperwork for its logo -- an interlocking MJ with a crown on top -- so they can continue to splash it over phone accessories, merch, CD cases and ... music recordings!

It's got us thinking ... is the King Of Pop's estate preparing to open MJ's music vault? Because that would be so, so awesome! Sadly, our sources say no new music is being released because the vault is empty.

Paris Jackson proves there's something heredity about singing, because she was awesome as grandma Katherine looked on.

Paris was performing at the Canyon Sessions Cancer Fundraiser in L.A., and gotta say, she sounds a little like Joni Mitchell ... and that's high praise.

What's especially interesting ... Katherine has been mostly MIA from the public for several years now, and a while back we reported she was living with one of her children and she had not seen her grandchildren in ages.

Paris posted this, "I can't believe my grandma made it to our second live show, and she actually liked it!?!!! I love you so much grandma."

It looks like they've reestablished ties. As you know, Katherine raised Paris and her brothers after Michael Jackson's death. Paris had it rough after her dad died, but she's rebounded spectacularly.

Paris Jackson is taking extreme measures to protect herself from Isaac Kappy, the actor who allegedly choked her, including amping up her security and moving out of her home ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the case tell us Paris has continued getting text messages from Kappy, and they're rambling and downright scary. We're told the tone of the texts is similar to the letters Kappy sent to Seth Green -- loving and caring, but also sounding like he's coming unhinged.

We're told Paris initially responded to Kappy's texts because she feared he was suicidal and wanted to be supportive.

TMZ broke the story ... Kappy was good friends with Paris and Seth up until last month when he allegedly choked Paris during a game night party. He also posted videos accusing Seth and his wife of being pedophiles, and intimated he was prepared for a shootout with police.

Our sources say Paris isn't taking any chances. We're told she's relocating, and now has armed security with her at all times. She's also blocked his number.

Janet Jackson changed up her act Saturday night at the Panorama Music Festival in Randall's Island, New York, by starting her set with a song that not many people know but has a deep message.

Janet hit the stage with "The Skin Game (Part 1)," the b side of a 30-year-old record. Before she started singing, the audience heard audio of reporters doing stories about white supremacists and terrorism. Then the names of black men killed by police -- unarmed black men -- appeared on the big screens next to the stage.

Janet did not disappoint ... singing a number of her hits from her catalog. There was definitely a message beyond just singing hits.

There was no doubt from anyone in the audience ... Janet stole the show.

Janet Jackson sure knows how to build hype over her forthcoming studio album -- her first in 3 years -- and did just that by assembling a stealth rhythm nation in New York.

The "Unbreakable" singer was shooting a music video in Brooklyn Monday with a quartet of dancers draped in denim behind her ... as she herself donned quite a colorful getup made of a green headscarf, a long pink skirt and a yellow belt with jeans on.

BTW, there was no music being played here as Janet and co. boogied. Unclear if she was simply getting some choreography down, or if this was the real deal. Seeing how there's a camera guy doing his thing ... probably the latter.

Janet confirmed this past May that she was working on a new record, but was still in the early stages of writing and gathering concepts. It's July now, so it seems she's had some fully fleshed out ideas since then ... hence, this.

Marlon Jackson isn't paying attention to the negative things people have to say about his late father, Joe, because it's not how he remembers him.

We got Marlon Tuesday at LAX, a day after the Jackson clan gathered together and laid Joe to rest in a private funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park ... the same place where Marlon's brother, Michael, is entombed.

Marlon says the family is doing as well as can be expected. As for criticism that Joe was too harsh on his kids ... Marlon doesn't want to hear it. He wants to hold on to the good memories, of which he says there are many.

Paris Jackson was holding Joe Jackson's hand and reminiscing with him about Michael Jackson during her grandfather's final moments.

MJ's daughter posted an emotional tribute to Grandpa Joe, saying "I will cherish every moment with you til the day I die ... being able to hold your hand, lay with you and cuddle you, give you kisses all over your cheeks and forehead, meant more to me than you'll ever know."

She added, "Sharing stories my dad used to tell me about you, telling a joke and hearing you laugh for the last time. My heart is fulling knowing we left each other in that way."

Paris also said there was a steady stream of Joe's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren coming to pay their respects in his final days.

What's interesting about it -- especially the part about Michael's stories about Joe -- is MJ had cut his father out of his will. Michael's 2002 will left a life estate for Katherine Jackson, but nothing for Joe or any of his siblings.

As we reported, Joe made peace with the administrators of Michael's estate, and they'd provided for him in recent years.

10:30 AM PT -- Family sources tell TMZ, Joe died at a hospice in Las Vegas. The hospice is connected to a hospital where Joe was admitted. We're told he was moved to the hospice a day and a half ago.

Joe Jackson -- the patriarch of the Jackson family -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

Family sources tell TMZ, Joe passed away at 3:30 AM Wednesday.

We broke the story ... Joe was hospitalized in June with terminal cancer. His family had been flocking to his bedside since. His wife, Katherine, had been at his bedside as were some of Joe's children and grandchildren.

Joe had been battling health problems for some time now. He was hospitalized back in 2016 after coming down with a high fever. But, he bounced back not long after and was seen partying in Vegas. His health was also fragile after a stroke and 3 heart attacks back in 2015. Doctors implanted a pacemaker.

Joe may have been the most successful parent managing his children in the history of music. He, with a little help from Diana Ross, engineered the careers of The Jackson 5, and then Michael and Janet Jackson as solo artists.

The elder Jackson took a lot of heat from Michael and his siblings for abusing parenting and management practices, including physical brutality. Joe copped to it but, far from apologizing ... he said his methods made his kids successful and kept them out of jail.

Michael's dad stood by him during his molestation trial. After Michael's death, Joe was criticized for trying to make money off his son's memory.

A rep for Michael's estate tells us, "We are deeply saddened by Mr. Jackson’s passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Katherine Jackson and the family. Joe was a strong man who acknowledged his own imperfections and heroically delivered his sons and daughters from the steel mills of Gary, Indiana to worldwide pop superstardom."

Joe had 10 kids with Katherine, his wife of more than 60 years. The 2 did not live together and had a strained relationship for the last years of his life, but they frequently interacted.

Tito Jackson's sad someone tried to disrespect his little brother ... but he's happy Paris Jackson stepped up to make things right.

We got MJ's older bro at LAX Thursday and asked about someone tagging a Michael Jackson star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week before his niece showed up to scrub it clean. Tito tells us he's proud of her, because it shows she takes pride in her father's legacy ... just like him.

Tito's not sure if the graffiti was a personal attack on Michael this time around or just a random act of vandalism, but the funny thing is ... the perp who tagged the star really failed if their intention was to hate on the King of Pop.

Turns out ... the star that got tagged was actually Michael Jackson, the 84-year-old British radio personality.

Janet Jackson's celebrated her 52nd birthday Wednesday, and she's getting a huge honor this weekend ... so, it's the perfect time to remember where it all started.

Janet was just 8 years old when she marched onto a stage with Carol Burnett and her big brother, Randy Jackson. The Jackson 5 were the scheduled guests, but Janet stole the show with this rendition of Sonny and Cher's "The Beat Goes On."

She's come a long way since this January 25, 1975 appearance -- her first with the fam -- and this weekend she's getting the Billboard Icon Award. Best moment, besides the singing and dancing, is when Carol asks her name.

You think the Kardashians would suit up and play softball against normies? Hell no -- the team they faced was Tito Jackson's family!!!!

That's right ... Kim, Kourtney, Kris and the rest of the Calabasas Peaches faced off against "Tito's Team" -- led by team captain Tito Jackson, his sons T.J., Taryll and Taj and the rest of their families.

The best part ... Tito ditched the traditional baseball cap for a bowler hat because #fashion.

So, who won the big game? Our sources tell us the Jackson family emerged victorious ... shocking for a couple of reasons. First, it's the Kardashians' show, and also because the Kardashians reached out to 14-time MLB All-Star Alex Rodriguez for coaching help!

Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, posted a video that was addressed to his grandson, Blanket ... but it might've been meant for his older brother, Prince.

Joe tweeted a video message Monday in which he tells Blanket to "stay healthy" and "stay off those bikes" ... this after Prince recently got into a motorcycle accident that sent him to the hospital.

He rambles a bit in the post, but it appears he's simply sending good vibes to his grandkid(s) ... even though he seems a little confused as to which one got injured.

Katherine Jackson is bowing out of the guardian biz when it comes to Michael Jackson's youngest child, Blanket.

According to docs filed by Katherine ... there's no longer any need for her to be the 15-year-old's guardian. Katherine had been appointed joint guardian -- along with TJ Jackson -- of all 3 of Michael's kids in 2012.

Both Paris and Prince are adults now, but Katherine says because Blanket has reached his adolescence ... TJ can handle guardianship on his own. She also points to her own age, 87, as a reason she's stepping down.

Worth noting ... Katherine had not seen her grandchildren for several months earlier this year. It's still unclear how much contact she's had with MJ's children.

A judge still needs to approve Grandma Jackson's request.

1:30 PM PT -- Joe says he's out of the hospital and doing fine. As he says, he "got out of it without a scratch." However, his assistant, who was driving, broke his thumb. Joe says they're gonna do lunch at home, and "All is well. Thank God."

Joe Jackson's been taken to a hospital after a car accident near the Las Vegas strip ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Joe was a passenger in a black Jaguar when it T-boned a red SUV. MJ's father walked into a Panda Express next to the accident scene, and sat down wincing in pain ... according to witnesses.

We're told he was complaining of chest pains and paramedics took him by ambulance to a hospital.

It's unclear who was driving Joe, or if anyone else suffered injuries..

Michael Jackson's youngest son isn't a little kid anymore ... and he's armed and dangerous.

Blanket Jackson is now 15, and he's a black belt in Karate. He was leaving an L.A. martial arts studio Saturday strutting his stuff.

FYI ... a black belt with a white stripe is the Master Black Belt designation in karate.

It's pretty amazing ... all 3 of Michael's kids have emerged from the shadows and found their path.

Short story ... Blanket's still not old enough to drive, but he moves fast.

Katherine Jackson resurfaced late Wednesday night at a famous West Hollywood diner, setting off alarms for some very worried family members.

Katherine was seen leaving Mel's Diner Wednesday night -- at 11 PM, no less -- with 1 bodyguard and 2 women.

Katherine hasn't been seen in public since March, when she returned from her extended stay in London.

Some members of the Jackson family are very concerned because they said the matriarch would NEVER end up close to midnight on the Sunset Strip at a diner. They note Katherine loved her life when she was living at her Calabasas home with a chef hired by the Michael Jackson estate.

They say she would have scoffed at diner food, and think she's been pressured and fooled by certain members of Jackson's family to bolt from the fold and help them squeeze money from the estate.

Our sources say Katherine is now living in a hotel near her Calabasas home, and they believe it's all the doing of certain family members who want to keep Katherine isolated ... especially from her grandchildren.
