GOIN' ALL THE WAY
TMZSports.com

He predicted the Dodgers would make the playoffs ... now Eric Karros is breaking out the crystal ball yet again for a World Series prediction -- and Red Sox fans ain't gonna like this.

TMZ Sports spoke with the Dodgers legend/prophet about the final 4 teams in the MLB playoffs ... and he's expecting a rematch of last year's Fall Classic between the Dodgers and Houston Astros.

Not only is he predicting L.A. to make it, but he also says they have a serious shot at winning it all. He's also biased as all get-out.

Oh, and to the people predicting Clayton Kershaw will choke in the post-season -- KARROS SAYS YOU'RE WRONG!!

Again -- biased -- but Karros says the Dodgers' ace will go down as one of the best pitchers ever.

Dodgers take on the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 of the NLCS on Friday ... and the Sox and 'Stros kick things off Saturday.

'Will & Grace' Star Give Josh Hader a Break For 'Silly' Homophobic Tweets

FORGIVE HIM
TMZSports.com

"Will & Grace" star Leslie Jordan is calling for people to FORGIVE Brewers pitcher Josh Hader for his homophobic and racist tweets ... saying everyone's guilty of saying dumb things when they're young.

Hader was booed in San Francisco Thursday night over the tweets he posted in 2011 -- when he was 17 years old. The tweets included the n-word and very anti-gay rhetoric.

He later apologized, saying he was "immature" and has changed since then.

But, Jordan -- who's openly gay -- says the whole situation is "silly" because you can't define people by what they do at age 17. In fact, Jordan says he was an alcoholic as a teenager and couldn't imagine the things he would have posted if Twitter was around back then.

"People say things. Come on, we were kids. We didn't know. We said all kinds of things when we were kids and to bring all that up ... that's just people hunting for stuff."

Brewers Pitcher Josh Hader Booed Loudly In First Road Game ... Since Racist Tweets

Brewers pitcher Josh Hader got BOOED for several minutes in his first road game since his racist and homophobic tweets from seven years ago surfaced.

Hader took the long walk from the bullpen to the mound Thursday night in San Francisco ... and Giants fans greeted him with a loud round of jeers.

Remember ... Josh had to apologize after his old tweets that included "I hate gay people," "White power" and "KKK" were dug up last week.

Milwaukee fans were forgiving ... treating him to a standing O in his return to the Brew Crew's ball park last Saturday.

Clearly -- road fans ain't ready to give him that kind of pass yet.

Brewers Pitcher Josh Hader Fans Cheer ... After Racist, Homophobic Tweets

Josh Hader -- the MLB All-Star pitcher who just apologized for racist and homophobic tweets -- got a hero's welcome Saturday night in Milwaukee.

Hader hit the mound for the Brewers, pitching against the L.A. Dodgers when people in the stands erupted in cheers and applause.

He came under fire this past week when tweets surfaced in which he said, among other things, "White power," "I hate gay people," and "Hahahahahah yeah to bad I'm f***ing grounded n***** can't do s***."

The tweets were posted when he was 17. He's now 24.

Hader said in his apology, "I was 17 years old and, as a child, I was immature and I obviously said some things that were inexcusable."

The fans clearly didn't seem to mind as they went nuts cheering him on.

It looks like the peanut gallery may have helped ... The Brewers beat the Dodgers 4 to 2.

MLB's Josh Hader Sorry For N-Word, Anti-Gay Tweets ... 'I Was Immature'

MLB All-Star pitcher Josh Hader has apologized for all of the insanely offensive tweets on his timeline -- including multiple attacks on gay people and use of the n-word -- explaining, "I was immature."

Back in 2011 and 2012, the Milwaukee Brewers star posted all sorts of hate speech -- throwing around the n-word multiple times and stating, "I hate gay people."

It all came to light Tuesday night while 24-year-old Hader was pitching in the All-Star game -- and, right after the game ended, reporters swarmed him to get some answers.

"I was 17 years old and, as a child, I was immature and I obviously said some things that were inexcusable," Hader said.

"That doesn't reflect on who I am as a person today, and that's just what it is."

The 24-year-old was backed by his teammates ... despite the racist commentary.

"We'll move on from it," said Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain -- who is African American.

"I know Hader. He's a great guy, a great teammate. So, I'm fine. Everybody will be OK. We'll move on from this for sure."

There has been some speculation Hader could be suspended for the tweets -- something the pitcher says he'll accept fully.

"I'm ready for any consequences that happen for what happened seven years ago."

Christian Yelich Scores $5.6 Mil Beach House ... With Assist From Mom!

Christian Yelich's mom knocked house hunting for her son out of the park ... 'cause she just helped the Milwaukee Brewers star score a $5.6 MILLION beach house in Malibu!!

Alecia Yelich repped her baby boy -- a 26-year-old outfielder -- in the house hunt ... and got $400,000 knocked off the original listing price of $6 mil ... and the house is sick.

It's a 2,500-square-foot pad -- listed by Cormac and Wailani O’Herlihy from Sotheby’s -- right on the beach off the Pacific Coast Highway in the 'Bu ... and features its own elevator, roof-top patio and wet bar.

No word yet on what Christian owes mom for the assist ... but we're betting one of the house's three bedrooms is hers.

Milwaukee Brewers Kill 'Dumb and Dumber' Skit 'Triple Stamp a Double Stamp?!'

SWEET RIDE

Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?

Good, because a bunch of Milwaukee Brewers pitchers just recreated that famous "Dumb and Dumber" scene ... and it's actually pretty good.

Brent Suter (Harry), Josh Hader (Joe) and Jeremy Jeffress (Lloyd) reenacted the famous "Dumb and Dumber" scene to help the squad promote mini-replica bullpen cars ... and it's hilarious.

Suter is pretty great doing Jim Carrey's part in the 1994 flick ... especially since he was only FIVE when the movie came out!

Milwaukee Brewers Transform into 'Sandlot' Stars ... Awesome Video!!

A WORTHY TRIBUTE

Real-life MLB studs are bringing Smalls, Benny the Jet and all the 'Sandlot' stars back to life ... and it's freakin' AMAZING.

FYI, the classic baseball flick -- set in the 1960's -- is approaching its 25th anniversary ... so, the Milwaukee Brewers took a few hours outta Spring Training to reenact their favorite scene.

All the guys were pretty great -- but ya gotta give it up to whoever was in charge of casting.

Stephen Vogt (Ham), Eric Sogard (Squints) and Brett Phillips (Smalls) REALLY look like the kids grown up ... and the Brew Crew also nailed it with their version of "The Beast."

Not all the actual 'Sandlot' stars are doing so hot, but maybe this video will remind 'em of the better days.

FYI -- these ain't the only MLB stars paying homage to the movie ... Yankees slugger Aaron Judge rocked a "Great Hambino" shirt last year.

MLB's Jeremy Jeffress Pleads Guilty In DWI Case

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jeremy Jeffress has plead guilty in his drunk driving case -- but he's NOT going back to jail, TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, Jeffress was popped on August 26, 2016 -- and during the stop, cops say he admitted to drinking 3 to 4 cups of Hennessy and Coke before he got behind the wheel.

Jeffress was initially charged with misdemeanor DWI -- which carries a minimum 72 hours in jail in Texas (they REALLY don't like drunk driving there). The maximum is 180 days.

A rep for the Dallas County District Court tells TMZ Sports ... Jeffress pled guilty to DWI on Tuesday and got the minimum 3 days in jail. We're told the court gave him credit for time served, so he won't have to go back behind bars.

Jeffress went to rehab following the arrest and rejoined the team about a month later. Sources connected to Jeffress tell us he's taking the situation very seriously and is committed to sobriety moving forward.

MLB Prospect Became Human Shield During Vegas Massacre

I SAW DEATH
TMZSports.com

Milwaukee Brewers minor league prospect Bubba Derby is a hero -- selflessly throwing his body over other people to shield them from bullets during the Vegas massacre ... and now he's telling his story.

The 23-year-old pitcher was attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival with family and friends when the shots rang out. Derby says he shielded two girls he met that night. His cousin threw his body over his girlfriend.

Fortunately, they all survived. The women have since found Derby on Facebook and thanked him for his heroic actions that night.

Derby says he's still haunted by the events -- and feels horrible for the people who didn't make it out.

But Derby says through all the carnage, he saw real acts of heroism -- people risking their lives to help others and law enforcement sprinting towards the gunfire to try and stop the shooter.

Watch the video.

Ryan Braun Dropped by Nike Over Steroid Use

Disgraced Milwaukee Brewers left fielder and admitted steroid user Ryan Braun has just been dropped by his biggest sponsor ... Nike.

A rep for Nike confirmed the athletic company no longer has a relationship with Braun, who has been suspended for the rest of the 2013 season over his admitted steroid use. The Nike rep wouldn't comment any further.

It's unclear how much Braun's Nike deal was worth exactly, but safe bet ... it's a lot.

Nike's just the latest company to drop Braun over PED allegations -- a list that includes Muscle Milk, and Wisconsin-based Kwik Trip convenience stores.

Aaron Rodgers Ryan Braun (cluck) Lied To My (cluck) Face! (cluck)

Aaron Rodgers -- GB Packers quarterback and chronic bet reneger -- is blaming disgraced MLB player Ryan Braun for letting his mouth write a check his ass couldn't cash.

As you know by now ... back in February, Rodgers aggressively defended his friend Ryan Braun against allegations the Milwaukee Brewers outfielder was using PEDS ... and was so confident, he "bet" his 2013 NFL salary with a random person on Twitter.

Obviously, Rodgers was wrong and lost the bet (he'll never pay up, BTW) -- and now he's throwing Braun under the bus ... telling reporters he was merely "backing up a friend."

Rodgers says he was "shocked" when Braun admitted to cheating -- saying, "[Braun] looked me in the eye ... it didn't feel great being lied to like that."

You know what else doesn't feel great, Aaron? When you enter into a wager with someone and then DON'T PAY UP!!!!

Aaron Rodgers LOSES Bet Probably Won't Pay Up ... Again

Aaron Rodgers -- NFL star and habitual bet weaseler-outer -- has LOST another major wager after famously betting his salary that Ryan Braun was PED-free ... but he probably won't pay up, 'cause that would be wayyyyyy out of character.

You may remember back in February, the Green Bay QB went to Twitter to defend his friend Braun against widespread allegations the Milwaukee Brewers outfielder was juicing.

One fan challenged Rodgers, saying, “you really believe he (Braun) didn’t you (sic) PED’s???”
And Rodgers responded: “ya, I’d put my salary next year on it.”

Well, now that Braun's basically copped to doping ... Rodgers is officially a LOSER ... and should have to pay the guy his 2013 salary -- $4.5 MILLION.

But as we all know, Rodgers has a history of not paying off his bets -- starting with the wager he made with Boyz II Men back in 2012 ... that the Pack would beat the 9ers in the season opener.

The Pack lost that game ... and Rodgers was supposed to wear a 49ers jersey. But he chickened out ... cause he's a great big, feathery CHICKEN.

So, just to recap .... Aaron Rodgers is 0 for 2 when it comes to paying up ... or to put it in language he would understand, "cluck cluck cluck cluck."

MLB Star Ryan Braun SUSPENDED for Season Over Juicing Allegations

Ryan Braun -- the 2011 National League MVP -- has been suspended without pay for the rest of the season amid allegations he was using performance enhancing drugs.

MLB Commissioner Bud Selig made the announcement ... saying the Milwaukee Brewers outfielder violated the league's policy on substance abuse.

FYI -- the allegations came to light after authorities raided the Biogenesis clinic in Florida and discovered records linking Braun -- and a host of other MLB stars -- to PED purchases.

Braun's suspension will go into effect immediately and last the remaining 65 games of the season.

Braun released a statement saying ... "As I have acknowledged in the past, I am not perfect. I realize now that I have made some mistakes. I am willing to accept the consequences of those actions. This situation has taken a toll on me and my entire family, and it has been a distraction to my teammates and the Brewers organization."

The statement continues, "I wish to apologize to anyone I may have disappointed -- all of the baseball fans especially those in Milwaukee, the great Brewers organization, and my teammates. I am glad to have this matter behind me once and for all, and I cannot wait to get back to the game I love."

Braun allegedly failed a MLB-administered urine test back in 2011 ... and was facing a 50 game suspension. But MLB's case fell apart thanks to a courier who allegedly mishandled the samples before they were tested.

As for Alex Rodriguez, who was also reportedly linked to the Biogenesis lab -- the MLB hasn't commented on his situation ... yet.

Alex Rodriguez Whistleblower Holding Alleged 'Roids Docs Hostage ... for $1 Million

Alex Rodriguez' career could hang in the balance of a 7-figure check -- because sources tell TMZ, the whistleblower who allegedly has proof A-Rod and other players bought steroids wants at least a million bucks for his info.

As TMZ first reported, Porter Fischer -- an ex-employee at the Biogenesis clinic in Miami -- scheduled a sit down with MLB investigators in Miami ... which went down on Tuesday.

Fischer's attorney tells TMZ, his client discussed a possible deal with MLB ... in which the league would acquire the drug-purchasing records of more than 100 MLB players (including A-Rod and Ryan Braun) -- but it's gonna cost 'em.

Sources close to the investigation tell us, the MLB has yet to make an official offer for the goods ... but as it stands, Fischer won't settle for less than a million.

MLB officials want the records as part of their ongoing investigation into allegations of widespread performance enhancing drug use by players.

We're told Fischer and MLB already have plans to meet again in the near future -- but no one's talking dollars yet.

Never know when the price could go up ...

A-Rod & MLB Stars Investigators to View Alleged 'Roids Smoking Gun

Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun's ears should be burning -- baseball investigators are about to sit down with the whistleblower who claims he can prove they purchased performance enhancing drugs from a Miami clinic ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge of Major League Baseball's investigation tell us MLB officials will be meeting with Porter Fischer in Florida this week ... and he's expected to reveal his detailed records from the Biogenesis clinic.

Fischer is an ex-employee at Biogenesis and claims to have the goods on more than 100 baseball players -- among them Braun and A-Rod -- who allegedly obtained banned PEDs from the clinic's owner Tony Bosch.

The Yankees just cleared Rodriguez for his first on-field action this season -- a minor league game -- as he continues to rehab from hip surgery.

We're told the MLB meeting was brokered by Fischer's attorney, Ray Rafool -- and that MLB will pay Fischer a "consultant" fee in exchange for his cooperation.

Bottom line -- if Fischer has the mother lode he claims ... MLB could soon be handing down major suspensions.
