Jason Biggs is getting real about his wild past with drugs and booze -- and he describes a night he was so out of hand, he ended up retrieving a bag of cocaine straight out of a stranger's trash can.

The actor spilled the tea on the "Well with Arielle Lorre" podcast, revealing that after shooting to fame with "American Pie" at age 19, he had cash, coke, and no one telling him "no" during his blackout coke and booze binge fiending phase -- not even his wife, Jenny Mollen.

He recalled snorting coke at 4 AM while his wife slept one night, and having anxiety about obligations he had later in the day ... so he tossed the baggie in his own trash to stop himself. But 15 minutes later, he came crawling back to dig it out and snort another line.

Billy Joel is recalling a heartbreaking period in his life ... revealing he attempted suicide twice in his 20s over the guilt he carried after having an affair with his best friend's wife.

The music icon dropped the bombshell confession in his new documentary, "Billy Joel: And So It Goes," which premiered Wednesday at NYC's Tribeca Festival. Notably, he was not present.

In the no-bars-held revelation, reported by People, Billy said he admitted to having an affair with Elizabeth Weber -- the wife of his pal and former bandmate Jon Small -- when Jon became suspicious. At the time, they were all living together -- which is when BJ said he fell "in love" with her.

Harvey Weinstein is speaking out as the jury in his rape retrial deliberates ... saying he has "regrets" about his immoral behavior -- but insisting he never committed a crime.

From Manhattan's Bellevue Hospital, Weinstein gave a phone interview Thursday to "Good Day New York" host Rosanna Scotto, offering the same old lines he's been delivering for years. As you may know, Weinstein has been receiving medical treatment at Bellevue for his multitude of illnesses while in custody.

In a snippet obtained by Fox 5 New York, he told Scotto, "I have regrets that I -- from my family -- through this, that I put my wife through this, that I acted immorally. I put so many friends through this and hurt people ... that were close to me, by the way, by actions that were stupid. But never illegal, never criminal, never anything."

9:23 AM PT -- Attorneys for Russell Simmons -- Imran H. Ansari and Carla DiMare -- tell TMZ, "Russell Simmons has filed a claim of defamation in court regarding the film 'On the Record.'

"Despite voluminous support for Mr. Simmons in the form of credible information, persuasive evidence, witness statements, and calls for further investigation by notable members of the media, politics, and the civil rights movement, the defendants simply disregarded it, and released, and continue to re-release globally, a film that tremendously disparaged and damaged Mr. Simmons with its salacious and defamatory accusations, that he vehemently denies.”

Russell Simmons claims HBO Max ignored mountains of evidence refuting the sexual assault claims against him when it produced a documentary about the cases ... and now he's suing the streamer for $20 million.

According to docs filed in New York, Simmons says the 2020 documentary "On the Record," "disregarded or suppressed" more than 20 witnesses who refuted the allegations multiple women made against the music mogul.

Simmons says that information was readily available to several bigwigs at WarnerMedia, the parent company of HBO Max, including CEO John Stankey. He claims civil rights leaders and members of Congress urged HBO to review the evidence supporting Simmons' denials ... although he doesn't name any of them.

Blake Lively might end up withdrawing the part of her lawsuit alleging emotional distress at the hands of Justin Baldoni, but there’s a catch holding things up … this according to his lawyers.

The actor's legal team sent a letter to the judge in the case claiming Blake is considering dropping her emotional distress claim, because she doesn't want to hand over her medical records ... which Baldoni’s team requested from Lively.

Baldoni attorney Bryan Freedman says they've been in communication with Blake's side about the records, but they've reached an impasse.

Chinese actor Zhenwei Wang was only 14 years old when he played Cheng -- one of Master Li's skilled marital arts students who hands the trophy over to Dre during the final match -- in the 2010 family/action film "The Karate Kid."
