DeSean Jackson Fined By Eagles Over Anti-Semitic IG Post

The Philadelphia Eagles have fined WR DeSean Jackson for conduct detrimental to the team over an anti-Semitic post on Instagram, the team announced.

"Today we have penalized DeSean for conduct detrimental to the team. He accepted these consequences and apologized," the Eagles said.

As you probably know ... Jackson posted an anti-Semitic quote attributed to Adolf Hitler (though, it was not a real Hitler quote) which suggested a Jewish conspiracy for world domination. He also posted several images of Louis Farrakhan, who has a long history of making anti-Semitic statements.

"In our many conversations with [DeSean], it has also been made clear that this is only the beginning," the Eagles continued ... "We have discussed a concrete plan for how we and he can heal moving forward."

The team also says they have explained to DeSean he must follow through with action to educate himself about anti-Semitism or he will be fired.

"He understands that in order to remain on the team, he must also commit to supporting his words with actions."

As we previously reported, Jackson has been meeting with Jewish groups, Jewish players and a Holocaust survivor in order to educate himself. We're told he's taking this very seriously.

The team continued, "We have been encouraged by his desire to educate himself, but we all understand that there is still a lot of work to be done."

"We will continue to assist DeSean in this process, and we also know that all of us in our organization need to listen and learn more about things that are unfamiliar or uncomfortable to us."

"We must continue to fight against anti-Semitism and all forms of discrimination, while not losing sight of the important battle against systemic racism."

NBA's Stephen Jackson Apologizes For Anti-Semitic Comments ... Used 'Wrong Words'

UPDATE

5:55 AM PT -- 7/8 -- Stephen Jackson says he used the "wrong words" when suggesting Jews "run all the banks" -- and insists he's not an anti-Semitic person.

UPDATE

The ex-NBA player went on CNN on Wednesday evening -- where Don Lemon explained why his comments were so offensive and wrong.

UPDATE
UPDATE

Jackson kept pushing back until Lemon dropped this truth bomb -- "Just because you don't understand that something you're saying or doing is anti Semitic. doesn't mean it's not."

UPDATE

Lemon continued, "Instead of defending this so much, shouldn't you be trying to understand why Jewish people are offended?"

UPDATE

Jackson ultimately agreed -- saying, "I apologize for using the wrong words ... I could have changed my words."

UPDATE

"I apologize for my words. I know I love everybody and thats how I always stand."

UPDATE

12:38 PM PT -- More dangerous anti-Semitic rhetoric from Stephen Jackson -- this time, he's pushing a centuries-old lie that Jews control "all the banks."

UPDATE
"YOU KNOW WHO THE ROTHSCHILDS ARE?"
UPDATE

12:23 PM PT -- Jackson went on IG live Wednesday (full video here) to defend his previous statements -- when he asked to acknowledge that Jews are not trying to divide the Black community.

UPDATE

Jackson shot back, "You know that for a fact?"

UPDATE

Then came the comment about the Rothschilds ...

UPDATE

"You know who the Rothschilds are? They control all the banks. They own all the banks."

UPDATE

The notion the Rothschilds "control all the banks" is a dangerous lie that has been weaponized by anti-Semites -- including the Nazis -- to rally hatred against Jews, as explained here.

UPDATE

Bottom line ... Jackson doesn't appear to have any interest in backing off his anti-Semitic statements -- he's doubling and tripling down.

"HE'S SPEAKING THE TRUTH"

"He was trying to educate himself, educate people and he's speaking the truth."

Former NBA star Stephen Jackson attempted to defend DeSean Jackson's anti-Semitic social media post in a video Tuesday ... adding in the clip, "You know he don't hate nobody."

"But, he's speaking the truth of the facts that he know and trying to educate others."

DeSean re-shared a quote attributed to Hitler (though it's not an actual Hitler quote) on his social media page earlier this week ... appearing to endorse a passage that claimed Jews will "extort" and "blackmail" America as part of a greater "plan for world domination."

DeSean apologized for the post multiple times ... and his team, the Philadelphia Eagles, ripped him in a scathing statement shortly after.

"Regardless of his intentions," the team said, "the messages he shared were offensive harmful, and absolutely appalling."

Stephen took issue with it all in a now-removed video ... bringing up the Eagles' handling of the infamous Riley Cooper n-word incident back in 2013.

"If it's talking about the Black race, y'all ain't saying nothing about it," Stephen said. "They killing us. Police killing us. And, treating us like sh*t. Racism at an all-time high. But, ain't none of you NFL owners spoke up on that. And, none of you teams spoke up on that."

"But, the same [Eagles] team had a receiver that said the word [n-word] publicly, and they gave him an extension."

Jackson continued, "I play for The Big 3, we have a Jewish owner. He understands where we stand in some of the things we say, but it's not directed to him. It's the way we been treated."

"Philadelphia, y'all need to repost this."

For the NFL's part, it released a statement on DeSean's post as well, saying, "DeSean’s comments were highly inappropriate, offensive and divisive and stand in stark contrast to the NFL’s values of respect, equality and inclusion. We have been in contact with the team which is addressing the matter with DeSean.”

The Eagles have not yet announced if a punishment will be handed down to the star receiver.

Dallas Goedert Punch Suspect I Was Protecting My Friends ... And Suffered Serious Injuries Too

The man who punched Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert says it wasn't a cheap shot -- insisting he was protecting a friend who was in Dallas' grasp ... and he says he suffered serious injuries as a result.

TMZ Sports spoke with Kyle Hadala, who tells us he feels the viral video does NOT tell the full story of what transpired before that fateful punch was thrown on June 19 at Zoo Bar in South Dakota.

Hadala insists Goedert and his friends had been "harassing" them at a previous bar over the choice of music they were playing on the jukebox.

"They were extremely aggressive and disrespectful," Hadala says.

The group moved to a new spot -- the Zoo Bar -- but Hadala says Goedert and his crew followed them with bad intentions. Very soon, according to Hadala, the situation escalated.

"They picked out my smaller colleague from the group, got in his face, and made very threatening remarks toward his personal well-being," Hadala tells us.

"Then one of his crew told my other colleague, and I quote, 'You’re just a fat f**king pussy. I'll beat the s*** out of you.'"

Hadala says Dallas put his hand on his friend -- which you can see in the video ... and that's when Hadala decided to take action.

"At this point, I was in fear for both of my friends' well-being especially due to the fact there were 10 of them and we were not familiar with the area," Hadala says.

"I protected my friend and then was ambushed by 5 to 7 individuals that punched, kicked, threw beer bottles, etc., trying to cause me bodily harm which I received medical treatment at the hospital for my injuries the next day."

Hadala says he received multiple lacerations in the incident, which required several stitches and staples to close the wounds.

Hadala was eventually arrested and booked on a simple assault charge. He's already lawyered up and plans to fight the case.

We've reached out to Dallas for comment ... but so far, no word back yet.

Eagles' Dallas Goedert Sucker Punch Suspect Arrested ... Charged With Assault

UPDATE

8:09 AM PT -- 6/21 The man suspected of punching Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has been arrested, law enforcement tells TMZ Sports.

UPDATE

A rep for the Aberdeen Police Dept. says 29-year-old Kyle Douglas Hadala has been charged with simple assault.

UPDATE

As for Goedert, cops say he was "transported to Avera St. Lukes Hospital where he was treated and released."

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was reportedly sucker punched during a bar fight in South Dakota -- and purported video of the melee is making the rounds online.

According to ESPN, Dallas was at a restaurant in Aberdeen Friday night called Zoo Bar -- where, for some reason, a bunch of dudes started tussling with each other ... which broke out into a full-blown brawl. Dallas got dragged in -- and by that, we mean clocked and KO'd.

In surveillance footage of the fight, you can see someone who's said to be Dallas getting punched out by someone who blindsides him and comes rushing in with fists out during the mayhem. He makes contact, and Dallas hits the ground hard -- he seems to be out cold.

ESPN reports that he was taken to a hospital and is doing fine now, adding that a suspect has been arrested in connection to the attack. NJ.com broke the story first.

Unclear what led up to the altercation -- but at least Dallas appears to be okay.

Ron Jaworski Defends Eagles' Jalen Hurts Pick ... He Could Be Like Lamar Jackson!!!

NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT ... YET
TMZSports.com

Ron Jaworski is going to bat for his Eagles ... telling TMZ Sports Philly did NOT screw up the Jalen Hurts pick -- saying the QB could be used like Lamar Jackson!!

"The guy has too much talent to have him sit on the bench," Jaws says. "You could create that package for him just like Lamar Jackson had when he first came to Baltimore."

Of course, Jaws' opinion ain't shared by too many in Philadelphia ... the team was blasted all week for taking the Oklahoma star in the 2nd round despite having 27-year-old Carson Wentz on the roster.

Jaws admits he doesn't know exactly how the veteran QB will respond to the draft choice ... but he says Doug Pederson will find a way to get them both on the field at the same time regardless.

"You fit him in, you teach him, you groom him, and eventually you've got a player!" Jaworski tells us.

But, Ron made it clear, there will NOT be a QB controversy in Philadelphia ... as long as Wentz stays healthy.

"It's Carson's job I believe for a number of years," Jaws says.

Ron Jaworski Salivates Over Cowboys' Draft ... 'CeeDee Is Special!!!'

TONS OF TALENT
TMZSports.com

Ron Jaworski tells TMZ Sports he's nervous for his Eagles ... 'cause the Philly legend says the Dallas Cowboys CRUSHED the NFL draft last week!!

"I'm worried as hell about those Dallas Cowboys, man," Jaws says.

As for why ... Jaworski tells us CeeDee Lamb -- Jerry Jones' top pick last week -- is an elite receiver talent who he was actually hoping would fall to the Eagles at pick No. 21.

"CeeDee Lamb is special," Jaws says. "I'm watching him kind of slip down, slip down. And, I'm going, 'He may fall to 21! The Eagles might get him!' But, he wasn't getting by Jerry Jones!"

The Cowboys were THRILLED to land the Oklahoma receiver ... and, in fact, they went on to have such a huge draft -- Jerry said it might have been his finest work since 2005.

Jaws was having a hard time disagreeing with that when we spoke with him this week ... saying, "Oh, boy! We get to see (CeeDee Lamb) for the next 10 years?!"

"Amari Cooper, Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, their offensive line -- woah! They're going to be good! Going to be a good group!"

The Eagles, meanwhile, were widely panned for their selections ... but Jaws tells us he believes first-rounder Jalen Reagor is going to work out just fine.

Eagles' Malik Jackson Donates $100k For COVID-19 Relief ... I'm Helping Kids!!!

WE CAN'T SIT ON THE SIDELINES
TMZSports.com

Awesome gesture by Eagles stud Malik Jackson ... he donated $100k to help families in Philadelphia -- this after he says he was inspired to give back during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I woke up one morning and realized, I said I wasn’t doing enough," Jackson tells TMZ Sports. "I actually watched a '60 Minutes' special and realized I wasn’t doing enough."

Jackson says he got with his camp earlier this month and quickly found an organization in Philly he wanted to give back to ... Fred's Footsteps.

The org assists families in the region with sick, disabled or injured children ... and Jackson tells us he's proud his money will help that cause during coronavirus times.

"With Fred’s Footsteps, they’ll get help," Jackson says. "I think we’ve really just tried to be a blessing. Because it’s a blessing to be a blessing."

Jackson, though, didn't stop the charity efforts there ... he also helped feed medical personnel at L.A. County USC Hospital with a donation last week as well.

As for football, the 30-year-old (who signed a 3-year, $30 MIL contract last season with the Eagles) says his injured foot is progressing well ... and he's hoping to be a dominant force in the NFL again this year.

HUMBLING, YET FRUSTRATING

Darren Sproles I'm A Hall of Famer ... 'I Feel Like I Am'

GET THE GOLD JACKET READY
TMZSports.com

Darren Sproles says he deserves a bronze bust in Canton someday ... straight-up telling TMZ Sports he's a Hall of Famer.

"I feel like I am," Sproles says. "But it's not for me to choose."

FYI ... Sproles' ex-teammate and All-Pro OL Brandon Brooks couldn't have agreed more with the former Eagles RB while the two were out in LA this week, saying, "Bro, there is no doubt."

Sproles has a solid case ... the 36-year-old played in the NFL for 14 years and is considered one the best utility backs that's ever touched the gridiron.

The 5-foot-6, 190-pound NFLer rushed for 3,552 yards in his career, added 4,840 more receiving yards and piled up more than 10,000 punt and kick return yards as well.

It's unclear if he'll ever get in -- the Hall doesn't have too many util guys in it -- but Darren is eligible for the honor starting in 2025, having retired after this past season.

As for what he'll do in the meantime ... Sproles says he's trying to coach, telling us, "I just want to help build a football team."

Donovan McNabb Gives Kevin Hart Signed Game Jersey Kevin Loses His Mind!!!

PURE JOY

Here's awesome video of lifelong Eagles fan Kevin Hart getting a game-worn, autographed jersey from one of the best players in franchise history ... and rightfully freaking out!!

Donovan McNabb came bearing gifts when he met with the comedian during Super Bowl week ... hooking Hart up with what will end up being one of his most prized possessions.

McNabb was a guest on Hart's "Laugh Out Loud" Radio show in Miami .. and told the movie star he had a little something for him ... and the dude's eyes LIT UP.

"It says 'official,' bitch!!" Kevin yells when he realizes the jersey is game-worn. "Look at this! An official f**king jersey!"

Remember ... Hart is from Philly and he's a HUUUUGE Eagles fan. In fact, he was front and center during the Super Bowl victory celebrations when the Eagles won it all in 2018 ... and even tried getting on stage with the players during the trophy presentation, but was rejected by security.

Kev's reaction is absolutely priceless ... and McNabb jokes that the jersey might be a bit too big for the smaller Hart.

We take it Kev will have to get this thing framed.

Carson Wentz Who Wants My Eagles-Mobile?!? Pimped Out Dodge Challenger For Sale!!!

Did you know ... Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz has a super-customized green Dodge Challenger, with his jersey number etched into the seats?!

It's true ... but now he's parting with his pimped out whip and it could be yours if you've got $150,000 to spend!

Wentz has decided to sell off his 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Coupe -- which features a SuperCharged 6.2-liter HEMI SRT V8 engine.

If that's too shop-talky for you ... here's what you need to know -- it can do a quarter mile in 9.65 seconds and has a top speed of 199 mph!!!

Unclear when Wentz got the car but it seems he's selling it because his wife's pregnant and they don't feel it's an appropriate family vehicle. Asking price, $149,984.

The good news, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Wentz's AO1 Foundation -- a religious-based charity that helps various groups of people, from special needs children to impoverished communities.

The sale is being run by Barbera on the Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia. A rep says there's already a ton of interest. So, better move quick!

NFL's Jay Ajayi I'm A Pro Gamer Now!!! ... FIFA 20

Super Bowl champ Jay Ajayi is taking his talents to video games ... 'cause the NFL running back is becoming a professional FIFA 20 player!!

The 26-year-old Pro Bowler and current free agent is staying competitive in a different sport by officially signing with the Philadelphia Union for the 2020 eMLS Cup campaign.

Ajayi addressed the move in a statement, saying, "Philadelphia will always hold a special place in my heart. I am blessed to be able to represent the city through e-sports and to be one of the first pro athletes to become a professional gamer."

"Representing the Philadelphia Union for eMLS combines two of my greatest passions outside of football, soccer and gaming. I’m a competitor, so you’re going to see me give my all for the Union at every eMLS event this year."

Tons of traditional mainstream athletes are becoming serious gamers -- with NBA stars like Gordon Hayward, Karl-Anthony Towns and De'Aaron Fox showing off REAL skills on the sticks.

And, with legends like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, Alex Rodriguez and other guys INVESTING in Esports, you might see other pro stars making the jump, too!

As for Ajayi, he's not giving up his NFL career just yet -- he briefly played with the Philadelphia Eagles at the beginning of the 2019 season before getting cut.

Of course, he spent several seasons in the NFL before that -- playing with the Dolphins from 2015 to 2017 and later winning the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018.

Carson Wentz Cleans Out Locker After Eagles Loss ... Looks Okay After Concussion

Carson Wentz arrived at the Eagles facility in Philadelphia on Monday to clear out his locker -- and while the situation was sad for the players, the good news is the QB appeared okay.

Of course, Wentz was knocked out of Sunday's wild-card round playoff game in the 1st quarter after suffering a concussion from a controversial hit from Seattle Seahawks star Jadeveon Clowney.

In the minutes after the game, Wentz reportedly went around the locker room apologizing to his teammates for letting them down -- though most of the players agreed there was nothing to apologize for!

Now that the season is over for Philly, the players returned to the team facility on Monday for the annual cleaning of the locker room.

In footage shot by 6ABC's Jamie Apody, you can see Wentz interacting with his teammates -- including Zach Ertz -- before leaving.

Ertz told Apody they feel for Wentz -- explaining that head injuries are scary and not something to mess around with.

27-year-old Wentz signed a 4-year, $128 million contract extension with the Eagles over the summer that will lock him through 2024 ... so he'll be back under center next year for sure.

Ron Jaworski Antonio Brown To Eagles ... 'Could Have Been Disastrous'

GOOD CALL
TMZSports.com

Ron Jaworski is praising the Eagles for NOT signing Antonio Brown when they were down in the dumps this year ... telling TMZ Sports that move could have been a train wreck.

"Short term, it might have been a good move," Jaws says. "But, I think long-term, it could've have been disastrous."

Jaws says he certainly considered the idea of his ex-team adding the troubled superstar ... especially when Philly was 5-7 and its wideouts were dropping like flies due to injuries.

But, Jaworski tells us once he really broke it down ... he realized the move could have SERIOUSLY damaged the Eagles' locker room.

"Antonio Brown is a fantastic football player, but he's also an incredible distraction," Ron says.

"And, when you build your team on guys of high character and team focus, it's hard to bring an outsider in, despite all that talent, and think he's going to integrate into your culture in a short period of time."

It appears Jaws -- and the Eagles' brass, for that matter -- made the right call, 'cause the team ended up winning the NFC East without Brown ... and has a real shot to beat the Seattle Seahawks in their Wild Card game Sunday.

As for that matchup, Jaworski tells us he's confident Carson Wentz can replicate what Nick Foles has previously done for the team in the playoffs -- saying CW is more physically gifted than the Super Bowl LII MVP.

In fact, Jaws says he's so confident Wentz can get it done ... he's picking the Eagles to upset the 'Hawks, 23-20!

NFL's Brandon Brooks Anxiety Forced Me Out Of Game ... Vomiting Wouldn't Stop

"The nausea and vomiting came back until I left the field, and I tried everything I could to get back for my teammates but just wasn't able to do it."

That's Philadelphia Eagles star Brandon Brooks talking about how an anxiety attack forced him out of a key game against the Seahawks on Sunday ... and the offensive lineman says the whole situation sucked.

"I woke up, and did my typical routine of morning vomiting," Brooks said. "It didn't go away like it normally does."

30-year-old Brooks -- who has openly battled anxiety issues for years -- says he was able to get the nausea to calm down once he got to the stadium ... but when the game started, he couldn't control it.

Brooks was forced to leave in the 1st quarter ... and he did not return. The Eagles lost 17-9.

It was the first time the 6-foot-5, 346-pound guard has been forced out of a game because anxiety issues since 2016 -- when he missed two contests as a member of the Houston Texans.

"Listen, this is a real-life issue," Eagles coach Doug Pederson said on 94WIP on Monday. "This is not a football issue with Brandon. This is a real-life issue that he has come out and publicly acknowledged and kind of shared his story a few years back."

Pederson added, "It's something that he's dealing with each and every day of his life. You never really know what triggers it. We’re here to support him, we love him."

Brooks -- who's made back-to-back Pro Bowls and is arguably the best guard in the league -- said he suffered a "setback" ... but made it clear he's not ashamed of his battle with anxiety.

"I've had this under control for a couple of years, and had a setback yesterday," Brooks said. "The only thing I'm upset about is that when my team needed me, I wasn't able to be out there with and for them."

It's unclear if the Eagles expect the star OL to make it back for their game against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Brooks has started every game for Philadelphia since he joined the team in 2017 ... and just recently signed a monster four-year, $54.2 MILLION contract extension.

Malcolm Jenkins Fires Back At Scandrick After Criticism ... 'Motherf**ker'

Malcolm Jenkins is clapping back at Orlando Scandrick ... callin' BS on his former teammate's criticism of him -- saying straight-up Scandrick is a "motherf**ker!"

If you missed it, Scandrick was picked up by the Eagles a few weeks ago ... but his tenure crashed and burned this week when Philly cut him after its epic loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

OS went on FS1's "Undisputed" on Friday to explain what went wrong ... and one of Scandrick's biggest gripes with the Eagles was with Jenkins -- a team captain.

Scandrick said Jenkins was a selfish player who had ZERO accountability for when he screwed up big plays ... and ripped him apart on the show with Skip Bayless.

"I think when you wear a 'C' on your jersey, it's your job to bring guys along," Scandrick said of Jenkins. "It's your job."

Scandrick also blasted the team's locker room and called out several other players ... and when media got around to asking Jenkins about the comments -- he was PISSED!!!!

"Look, I really give two s**ts about people that ain't here," Jenkins said.

Malcolm went on to insist he's actually a GREAT teammate ... and added he's glad Scandrick got cut because, "For us to move on as a team, we can't have motherf**kers like that in the room."

DAAAAAAAAAAAMNNNNNNN!!!

So, who won this battle? Well, neither. Scandrick's still teamless and Jenkins' Eagles still suck ... but, hey, at least they can chirp with the best of them!!!
