'Real World' Star I'm Saving the World ... With iPads

One man's trash is another man's treasure -- at least according to an ex-'Real World: Las Vegas' star, who's taking America's old, broken Apple products ... and turning them into charity gold.

It's pretty cool ... Michael Ross -- aka the straight-laced guy from 'RW' season 25 -- just started a non-profit called Greenest Genius that fixes up Macs, iPads, and iPods ... then donates a portion of the refurbished material back to impoverished children around the world.

Now here's the "genius" part -- the rest of the fixed-up products are then sold back to Americans to help finance the non-profit.

As for the above pics -- Ross tells us, they were snapped at an all-boys orphanage in El Progresso, Honduras recently ... where he donated one laptop, an iPad, and an iPod touch.

In case it wasn't already obvious ... Michael's company also helps the environment, preventing a bunch of otherwise hazardous electronics from filling American landfills -- hence the "Greenest" part of its name.

Steve Jobs would be proud.

'Real World' Producers Call BS on Rape Lawsuit

The "Real World" is firing back at Tonya Cooley's lawsuit ... claiming she was raped by a tooth brush during filming ... calling her accusations "completely baseless."

TMZ broke the story ... Tonya filed the suit against MTV, Bunim/Murray Productions, Kenneth Santucci, Evan Starkman and others ... claiming two guys used a tooth brush rather inappropriately on her while she was passed out and cameras rolled during filming of "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins."

Cooley claimed producers knew all about the incident and never told her.

A rep for Bunim/Murray, the production company behind the show, tells TMZ they actually "a thorough investigation" into the allegations -- but "found Tonya Cooley's claims to be completely baseless."

Cooley is suing for unspecified damages.

Kevin Connolly 'Johnny Bananas' Lawsuit is a Heap of Monkey Crap

Kevin Connolly thinks the MTV star who's suing "Entourage" is a frickin' moron -- claiming there's no way in hell the show could've ever stolen the name Johnny Bananas from him.

Connolly was leaving Dan Tana's in Hollywood last night ... when he told us, "I think he's crazy ... he's bananas if he thinks he's gonna get the money."

TMZ broke the story ... former "Real World" star Johnny Devenanzio recently filed a lawsuit against the people behind "Entourage" ... claiming he owns the rights to the name Johnny Bananas, because he used the nickname during his stint on MTV.

Devenanzio claims "Entourage" was blatantly attempting to "capitalize on the name recognition" when they ran a storyline in which Johnny Drama voices a cartoon monkey named Johnny Bananas.

Drama.

Former 'Real World' Star Busted For DUI

Kevin Dunn ... a former cast member on "The Real World" was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving earlier this month ... after cops say he nearly collided with a police car.

Dunn, now an anchor for ESPN's Longhorn Network, was arrested in his hometown of Austin, Texas on October 5th for misdemeanor D.U.I.

According to an affidavit ... Dunn blew through a lane of oncoming traffic, nearly smashing into a cop car. The officer says he had to slam on his brakes to avoid a collision ... and subsequently pulled Dunn over.

Back in 2001, Dunn was part of "The Real World: Back to New York" where he was described as having a "sharp sense of humor."

'Real World' Cast Member Sues 'I Was Raped With a Toothbrush'

A cast member on MTV's "The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins" claims male members acted like animals during production, in one case raping her with a toothbrush ... this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ.

Tonya Cooley filed the suit against MTV, Bunim/Murray Productions, Kenneth Santucci, Evan Starkman and others ... claiming the two guys "took another male participant's toothbrush and rubbed the toothbrush around plaintiff's genitals, including rubbing her labia and inserting the toothbrush into plaintiff's vagina."

Cooley says it all happened while she was passed out cold ... and cameras were rolling.

Cooley says producers not only knew about the rape, they even replaced the toothbrush, but never told her what happened.

The suit also claims female cast members were stripped of their bathing suits and that male cast members were encouraged by producers to "inappropriately touch female cast members' bodies, including in intimate areas."

Cooley alleges she and other cast members reported incidents of sexual abuse, but show honchos turned a blind eye.

Cooley claims she was later booted from the show after slapping a cast member. She says nothing happened to the men who allegedly raped her.

Cooley is suing for unspecified damages. Calls to MTV have not been returned.

We made several calls to Bunim/Murray for comment, but each time we called ... the receptionist hung up on us.

Puck from 'Real World' Sentenced to Daddy Classes After Domestic Violence Incident

Legendary "Real World" troublemaker David "Puck" Rainey needs to learn how to be a better father ... at least according to an L.A. judge -- who sentenced the reality star to parenting classes after his recent domestic violence arrest.

As we previously reported, Puck was busted on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant back in June.

It's unclear exactly what happened during the incident, but it's likely his kid was present -- because Puck was charged with child endangerment and contributing to delinquency of minor ... in addition to domestic battery and corporal injury on a spouse.

Puck struck a deal with prosecutors yesterday -- in which two counts, child endangerment and corporal injury on a spouse, were dismissed. In exchange, Puck pled "no contest" to domestic battery and contributing to delinquency of a minor.

The judge sentenced Puck to 4 years probation -- in addition to a 52-week domestic violence counseling program and 52 parenting classes.

If that wasn't bad enough, Puck also has to complete 30 days of reflective orange vest-wearing highway clean-up patrol.

In case you gave up on "Entourage" ... Johnny Drama agreed to be the voice of an animated TV show called "Johnny's Bananas" ... in which the characters are all apes, gorillas, and other primates ... it was sorta funny.

The new cast of MTV's "The Real World" will kick off the show's 26th season in a MASSIVE San Diego beach-front pad -- and TMZ has learned ... the house underwent some AWESOME renovations before the cast moved in.

The gorgeous, 5 bedroom, 6 bath, 8,600 square foot mansion has a pool, tennis court, and some pretty breathtaking ocean views.

Sources close to the show tell us -- the home's owner moved ALL the furniture and decorations out of their crib about three months ago -- fearing the typically wild cast would ruin all their stuff.

Once the house was empty -- the show staff added a FULL bar in the living room, a jacuzzi on the deck ... and turned the tennis court into a life-sized chess board.

... Because nothing says drunken house party like a life-sized chess board.

Johnny Bananas: NO "HALF-ASS APE" IS GONNA STEAL MY IDENTITY

MTV reality star Johnny Devenanzio -- aka Johnny Bananas -- tells TMZ ... he's VERY serious about his beef with "Entourage" claiming, "I'll be damned if some half-ass ape is gonna come and steal my identity."

TMZ broke the story ... the former "Real World" star is threatening to sue HBO over the "Johnny's Bananas" storyline on "Entourage" -- claiming he owns the rights to the name, and never gave permission for the show to use it.

In the letter, Johnny's attorney Stephanie Ovadia writes, "If you do not cease and desist ... you leave us little option but to seek judicial intervention."

Johnny tells TMZ he believes the name controversy is "in no way coincidental and is instead an attempt to capitalize on the name recognition which I'm solely responsible for creating."

He adds, "I intend to fight vigorously in defense of the years of hard work and dedication I've spent making Johnny Bananas a household name, and the purpose of this lawsuit is aimed at protecting the integrity of my brand."

But we're told, MTV isn't breaking any rules -- cops have checked the house out several times ... and so far, they haven't found a single code violation.

But all that might change ... once the cast moves in.
