Chargers' King Dunlap Arrested Allegedly Violated Protective Order

Chargers lineman King Dunlap was arrested in Nashville after allegedly violating a court order demanding he have no contact with his GF.

Nashville police responded to a domestic disturbance call around 9 PM Thursday night. When they arrived, cops say Dunlap was inside of his girlfriend's house ... a no-no 'cause of a protective order that says King CANNOT have contact with his girlfriend.

It's unclear why the order was initially granted.

He's scheduled to appear in court on March 7.

That's when Fluker went all Joe Namath on us ... assuring, asserting, then outright guaranteeing the Chargers charge their way into the playoffs.

FYI, the Chargers won five games and are in the toughest division in football ... but we sure weren't about to challenge the man (6'5", 340 lbs).

Chargers Coach Anthony Lynn Cusses, Screwup ... During 1st Presser

1ST TIME FLUB

It started off with Lynn referring to the team as the San Diego Chargers (he quickly caught that mistake) ... but it got worse when he was telling a story about his mentor, Bill Walsh, and dropped an S-bomb.

Speaking of s*** ... at least the team got rid of that terrible logo.

Shawne says he's confident Philip will be able to get it done on the field -- "He's a football player first" -- but the point is ... relocation is a bitch for anyone with a family, no matter the career.

Check out the vid ... Wellington knows he'll probably get in trouble, but clearly doesn't care.

At least he offers to clean up the mess.

Antonio Gates Philip Rivers Is SOOOOO Rich ... Doesn't Need Gifts From Me!

HE GOT HIS ALREADY
TMZSports.com

Antonio Gates is 3 TOUCHDOWNS AWAY from breaking Tony Gonzalez's career TD record for a tight end. So, we had to ask ... are you getting Philip Rivers a gift when you take the crown?!

The short answer -- HELL NO!

And why not? Gates points to the "gift" the Chargers already got the QB last year -- an $84 MILLION contract extension.

Gates says PR is like a brother to him -- and he respects the hell out of the guy -- but there's no sense in dropping a ton of cash on a guy who can buy whatever he wants.
