Error.

*NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Destiny's Child We're Not Singing at Super Bowl LVIII ... Despite Fan Speculation

Fans have been thinking former groups *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and Destiny's Child will all take the stage at this year's Super Bowl ... turns out, it's not gonna happen.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... despite rumors that the 3 iconic musical bands of the past will join forces for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, it's just not the case.

We're told the groups haven't been approached to perform, and no conversations are going down to turn it into reality.

The internet's been going nuts after rumors spread about *NSYNC and Destiny's Child being slated to perform at next year's big game ... and the dream expanded to include the Backstreet Boys.

The nostalgia train has really taken off since *NSYNC reunited at the MTV VMAs and got back in the booth to record the first song in decades for the new 'Trolls' flick.

TMZ broke the story, *NSYNC has no plans to start a tour, residency, or album despite speculation, but that doesn't mean the Super Bowl is off the table, right? Wrong.

Kelly Rowland My Biggest Blunder ... Ruining Bey's Gender Reveal!!!

SLIP OF THE TONGUE
Yeah, I F*cked That Up / Spotify

Kelly Rowland admits accidentally blowing the gender secret during Beyoncé's first pregnancy still haunts her to this day!!!

The ex-Destiny Child singer remembered her royal screwup while speaking on Billy Mann's "Yeah, I F*cked That Up" podcast, referring to it as the "worst moment" ever.

Back in 2011, she told Bang Showbiz, "[Jay-Z] is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible ... she won't be spoiled but she will be very well looked after" ... and her pronoun choices allowed the world to pick up on the fact the baby was a girl.

She also suggested Bey was even disappointed with her loose lips, but the moment didn't derail their friendship.

The two recently joined forces for Knowles-Rowland Project ... a $7.2 million construction for a 31-unit housing project for homeless residents in Houston.

And of course, that baby girl grew up to be Blue Ivy, who's currently dancing alongside her mother on the "Renaissance" World Tour.

Kelly's spoiler is now water under the bridge. Jay always said you gotta learn to live with regrets!!!

Destiny's Child Beyonce's Dad Says No Reunion On Tap ... Social Media's Misleading

Destiny's Child fans shouldn't lose their breath just yet over rumors the group's getting back together ... because their manager says there's nothing in the works.

Mathew Knowles -- Beyonce's father who's still DC's official manager -- tells TMZ ... as of right now, there are zero plans for the iconic group to reunite, make an album, tour or do anything of the sort.

Knowles says the recent social media updates to Destiny's Child's official accounts that sparked the speculation were just a routine revamping by the record label. If you missed it ... the group's header images were changed, which was enough to get fans going.

We're told Mathew never requested the change -- it was just a random, normal social media-type update.

Adding further fuel to the fire, however, is the fact Beyonce recently said in an interview that new music's coming ... but didn't specify if it would be solo, or with her old groupmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Based on what her Dad tells us it's likely solo, but he adds that the fan response to the Destiny's Child buzz shows there's a huge demand for them to make a comeback ... which he says is "great" and something they will take into account for the future.

Soooo ... he's saying there's a chance!!! Just not an immediate one.

Jagged Edge's Brandon Casey Scoffs at Mathew Knowles' Claims ... Am I In Jail?!?

JAGGED LIES
TMZ.com

Brandon Casey doesn't want to dignify the allegations of harassment Mathew Knowles directed at his R&B group with a response ... other than to say those involved already know the truth.

If you don't know ... Beyonce's dad claimed recently that Bey and Kelly Rowland were "constantly being harassed" by members of Jagged Edge back when they were touring together in the late '90s, though it was initially misreported as sexual harassment.

Mathew said the harassment caused a rift in Destiny's Child that led to the original members, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, leaving the group.

So, we asked Brandon about Knowles' accusations as he was leaving Zari in Atlanta Wednesday night ... he tells us he has too much respect for Beyonce, Kelly and all the other women involved to dish out dirt on Mathew.

He adds that the truth speaks for itself, and makes it clear he thinks any talk of harassment or sexual misconduct -- which again, was never alleged by Knowles in the first place -- is ludicrous.

Now ... where the party at?

Mathew Knowles on Girls Tyme Pre-Destiny's Child Group Beyonce Plus More Than 30 Others!!!

FEELIN' BLESSED
TMZ.com

Beyonce's dad, Mathew Knowles, says before there was Destiny's Child ... there was Girls Tyme -- which apparently had A LOT of pieces filling in around his daughter over the years.

Mathew came on "TMZ Live" Tuesday to give us the 411 on a new book and album he just released about the girl group he started nearly 30 years ago. You know about DC, obviously, but that success was built on Girls Tyme.

The book, "Destiny's Child: The Untold Story," and the album by the same name offer previously unreleased music, and a deep dive into the making of the group -- which Mathew says involved more than a couple dozen different members.

We've always heard about Bey, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson -- but, as it turns out, that was just the tip of the iceberg between Girls Tyme and the final version of DC.

Mathew also gave us a very positive update on his health following his diagnosis with breast cancer earlier this year.

Beyonce's Dad Destiny's Child Musical Coming Soon!!!

Beyonce's dad is bringing his daughter's story to the stage ... because he's creating a musical based on Destiny's Child and you already know it's gonna be bootylicious!

Mathew Knowles is producing the show, "Survivor: The Destiny's Child Musical," and he says it's premiering in Houston next year, with additional plans for Broadway, London's West End and even a world tour!

The musical is told from Mathew's perspective, and Beyonce's dad says he wants to pull back the curtain and treat audiences to an honest, behind-the-scenes look at how one of the greatest female music groups of all-time got its start.

Mathew says the tale will start from the group's humble beginnings, chronicling its rise to superstardom, plus his own pioneering climb into the music industry. Ultimately, Mathew says the show's message is that building a dream takes sacrifice ... even at the cost of everything and everyone you love.

You know it's gonna be a rockin' production ... and Mathew says the musical's gonna feature a masterful mix of music, dance and beautiful imagery. He's collaborating with Je'Caryous Johnson to bring his story to life.

No word on who has the inside track on playing Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson.

Yes. We are ready for this jelly.

Mathew Knowles To Kobe Bryant ... I'll 'Kick Your Ass' Again!!!

BALL ON SET

Mathew Knowles says he BALLED UP Kobe Bryant when they faced off in some 1-on-1 twenty years ago ... and he'll gladly kick Kobe's ass again if Mamba wants to run it back!!!

We spoke with Beyonce's dad after he unearthed video from the set of the Destiny's Child "Bug A Boo" video -- where he took on Kobe while wearing dress pants, dress shoes and a Polo shirt.

Mathew actually got a bucket on Kobe -- and Knowles says it was ALL SKILL, BABY!!!

I'D STILL TAKE KOBE TO THE HOOP
TMZSports.com

"He was talking a lot of trash," Mathew says ... joking that Kobe was trying to show out to impress all of the beautiful women on the set that day.

But, Knowles says he's a former basketball player himself -- played at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga -- and shocked Kobe with his hoop skills.

The best part ... Mathew says he's still in shape, still got skills and would WRECK Kobe if Mamba wanted a rematch.

"I told you I can play some ball! 20 years later, I could still take Kobe to the hoop!"

"Kobe, I just want to let you know bruh, I think you are one of the greatest -- if not the greatest basketball player ever."

"It was a privilege to kick your ass and I'll do it again."

Beyonce's Dad Destiny's Child & R. Kelly Collab ... Just About Business

R. Kelly might have been creepy when Destiny's Child recorded with him in 1998, but Beyonce's dad says no one in the music biz cared about his personal life, because he was killing it professionally.

Mathew Knowles tells TMZ ... every artist back then was judged by their talent and NOT their personal misdeeds. In Kelly's case, that meant giving him a pass for reportedly marrying 15-year-old Aaliyah in 1994 ... and settling a lawsuit with a woman claiming he had underage sex with her.

Mathew says creative genius trumped all back then.

PERSONAL LIFE WAS PRIVATE
TMZ.com

If you didn't know ... Destiny's Child -- Bey, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson at the time -- recorded a song with Kelly, but it never made the final cut for a DC album. Bey was 17 at the time, and Mathew makes it clear ... he and Tina Knowles never lost sight of the girls during the session.

Despite the #MeToo era, Mathew thinks the music industry hasn't made much progress when it comes to artists working with dubious characters -- because, for many, it's still just business.

Case in point, Lady Gaga recorded with Kelly in 2013 ... something for which she's now apologizing. She also said she's pulling their duet from streaming services.

Beyonce & Kelly Rowland Reach Out to Michelle ... We Have Your Back!!

12:00 PM PT -- Michelle just shared a message of gratitude for all the love and support she's received the past 2 weeks. She included words of encouragement for those battling with depression like herself ... and even tossed in a joke and a brag about Beyonce's mom cooking her a huge meal.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Beyonce and Kelly Rowland immediately dropped what they were doing when they heard Michelle Williams checked into a mental health facility to treat her depression ... and, like good, longtime friends, they reached out to offer their support.

Sources close to Destiny's Child tell TMZ ... Bey and Kelly were incredibly sad after learning Michelle had been struggling with depression and was having such a hard time dealing with it she sought professional help.

We're told both Beyonce and Kelly offered many words of encouragement, expressing their love for her and letting her know -- if Michelle needed anything, they were there to help.

IN GOOD SPIRITS

As we reported ... Michelle checked into a mental health facility in L.A. for several days. Michelle emerged days later alongside her fiance ... with a huge smile.

Destiny's Child Michelle Williams Checks into Mental Health Facility

Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child has checked herself into a mental health facility to seek help for her struggle with depression ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us Williams is getting treated in a facility just outside of Los Angeles and has been there for the past several days. Michelle has been open with her struggles in the past ... revealing her battle with depression in an interview last year.

In a statement Tuesday, Michelle says, "For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it's time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing."

She continues, "Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need."

Williams famously reunited with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland at Coachella in April ... the first time the group had performed together in several years.

Destiny's Child's LeToya Luckett Pregnant with Her First Child ... Big Gender Reveal in Works

LeToya Luckett -- one of the original members of Destiny's Child -- is having her first child and she's gonna reveal the gender in an explosive fashion ... TMZ has learned.

LeToya posted an IG video Wednesday that she was pregnant by having her stepdaughter, Madison, declare the big news. LeToya has been married to entrepreneur Tommicus Walker since 2017 -- Madison is his kid from a previous relationship.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Sources close to the couple tell us LeToya plans to announce if she's having a boy or a girl on the 4th of July with a fireworks show. She's keeping the due date under wraps for now.

Kelly Rowland Michelle Obama's Got Enough Groove ... For Destiny's Child

SHE'S GOT THE MOVES
TMZ.com

If Destiny's Child is ever in the market for a fourth member, they don't have to look further than Michelle Obama, according to Kelly Rowland.

We got Kelly at LAX Friday where she told us Michelle can bust a move like no other. She saw firsthand this week at College Signing Day, a Philly event celebrating high school seniors pursuing higher education.

The former First Lady hosted and busted out some choreography with "Empire" star Jussie Smollett.

So, we asked Kelly if Michelle got the same intense training DC did leading up to Coachella -- could she hold her own. Kelly hesitated at first, but it does look like Michelle could be a good backup plan if the trio hits the road again.

Beyonce Destiny's Child Reunion Not Over Still Hangin' With Kelly & Michelle

The Destiny's Child reunion is still going strong post-Coachella because all three ladies stepped out together Tuesday night in L.A. for a fashion event.

Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams attended the Dundas traveling pop-up store opening in West Hollywood. Beyonce wore the designer threads for her 2017 Grammy performance.

It's not unusual for Kelly and Beyonce to hang together offstage, but Michelle rarely tags along. She's there, but hard to spot ... in the back.

The trio are fresh off a highly successful Coachella reunion, but certainly looks like the show's not over yet.
