Latto swooped in at the 25th hour with a remix for Cardi B's new album's "ErrTime Edition" ... and admits to TMZ Hip Hop the process was strenuous, the payoff was worth it ... they're STUNTING on their female rap competition!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Latto in NYC, looking like a "Dapper Daniela" while leaving "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen" -- and we got the scoop on how the "Errtime (Remix)" came about ... the collab popped up a week after Cardi released "Am I The Drama?" straight to the top of the Billboard 200.

Latto tells us Cardi had her stressed with a 24-hour turnaround -- the song needed to be recorded, pressed, and sent back to make the next week deadline ... but she made it happen!!!

Federal prosecutors are full steam ahead to lock up Diddy ... asking a judge to sentence him to more than 11 years in prison following his conviction on prostitution-related charges.

In a new court filing -- obtained by TMZ -- prosecutors say they want "at least 135 months' imprisonment" for Diddy, along with a $500k fine.

Judge Arun Subramanian is set to hand down Diddy's sentence on Friday in NYC.

The gloves are off for another round ... Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are going at each other's throats on social media and neither one is holding back ... even family members are getting gagged!!!

Fulton County Police Animal Services Captain Nicole Dwyer announced on Monday that the R&B star/'Fast & Furious' staple had a warrant out for his arrest for animal cruelty.

Dwyer told local Atlanta media WSB-TV that they had received a call on September 18 from a neighbor who let his dog out at night ... only to find it dead on the ground minutes later from a clear-cut animal attack.

Celeste Rivas' death investigation is "complicated" and one of the key undetermined factors is establishing cause of death ... this according to the LAPD Captain leading the investigation.

Captain Scot Williams tells TMZ ... they are working with the L.A. County Medical Examiner to establish Celeste's cause of death. This is critical because up to now, it hasn't been clearly established whether she died from foul play or other causes. In other words, without the M.E.'s findings, it can't be squarely called a homicide, drug overdose, or anything else.

We asked if Tesla cameras captured the person or persons who put Celeste's body in the truck, but he would only repeat the Robbery Homicide Division is still processing all Tesla evidence.
