Jason Bailey

Jason Bailey (born June 4, 1987) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who most recently played for the Binghamton Senators of the AHL. Bailey was selected by Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the 3rd round (63rd overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He turned professional for the 2008–09 season and played 35 regular season games and 2 playoff games in the ECHL with the Bakersfield Condors registering two assists and 44 penalty minutes. He also played two games in AHL with the Iowa Chops. On September 4, 2009 the Anaheim Ducks traded Bailey to the Ottawa Senators for Shawn Weller. Bailey was assigned to the Binghamton Senators for the 2009–10 AHL season where he played in 62 regular-season games, scoring seven points with 78 penalty minutes. Bailey remained with the Senators for the 2010-11 AHL season where the club went on to win the Calder Cup. Although Bailey did not play a post-season game with the team, he received a championship ring and was said to be a huge locker-room presence by captain Ryan Keller.
