Launched in 2005, TMZ’s  meteoric rise followed its exclusive on two of the biggest stories in  entertainment: Mel Gibson's DUI arrest and subsequent encounter with law  enforcement, and Michael Richards' ill-fated trip to the Laugh Factory.  TMZ also broke the news of the breakup of Britney Spears and Kevin  Federline's marriage.

TMZ altered the entertainment news  landscape by changing the way the public gets its news. Frequently  referenced by various media, TMZ is one of the most-cited entertainment  news sources, utilized by national network and local newsgathering  organizations across the country.

In 2006, Time magazine named TMZ one of the coolest websites. Newsweek named TMZ the “Breakout Blog of 2007.”

• Harvey Levin, Executive Producer
  Harvey founded TMZ in 2005 and has been the Executive Producer of TMZ.com ever since.  Harvey has been a lawyer, a law professor, a radio personality, a columnist for the L.A. Times and an investigative reporter for the NBC and CBS affiliates in Los Angeles.  He has won nine Emmy awards, and has received numerous other journalism awards.
• Charles Latibeaudiere, Executive Producer
  Charles is Executive Producer and Managing Editor of TMZ and TMZ.com.  He’s been with the company since the 2007 launch of TMZ on TV. For the record, he does love pina coladas, but hates getting caught in the rain.
• Michael Babcock, Executive Producer TMZ Sports
  Michael is the Executive Producer of TMZ Sports. He oversees TMZSports.com and co-hosts the TMZ Sports TV show on FS1. Babcock also contributes to TMZ on TV and TMZ Live TV shows. He’s worked for TMZ Sports since 2013. Babcock studied at Seton Hall University in NJ.

• Ryan Naumann
  Ryan started as an intern at TMZ in 2009 and was soon hired as a producer. He has worked for Daily Mail, Us Weekly, In Touch and OK! Magazine. Ryan was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton, in 2012.

• Jamie Schram
  Jamie joined TMZ in 2017 as a Senior News Producer with a focus on law enforcement and courts, but he also reports on celebrity news. He is the former News Director for TMZ. Jamie began his career at the New York Post, where he spent 24 years as a reporter and police bureau chief. He also worked the federal beat in NYC and Washington D.C, while also covering the United Nations.
• Jennifer Delgado
  Jenn Delgado is a Senior News Producer, covering court-related stories.  Jenn has a B.A. and J.D. from the University of La Verne, and has worked in legal news since 2008. She enjoys the Dodgers, Broadway, poetry, iced lattes, dogs, cats, and is embarrassingly obsessed with Dateline and 90 Day Fiancé.
• Brendon Geoffrion
  Brendon is a Senior News Producer for TMZ.com. He began his professional career with an internship at Boston radio station WROR and moved to Los Angeles at 19 years old where he took a role at CBS Radio. Brendon joined TMZ in 2013 before working at Entertainment Tonight for 4 years. He returned to TMZ in May 2020.
• Charlie Neff
  Charlie is a Senior News Producer for TMZ.com. Charlie has reported for the news desk since 2013 and also appears on both TMZ TV and TMZ Live. Charlie holds a BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of La Verne.  On her time off, she loves traveling the world and cuddling with her cats Pretzel and Miss Kitty.
• Ryan Parker
  Ryan is a Senior News Producer for TMZ.com covering breaking and entertainment stories. He arrived at TMZ in 2024 by way of ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ and ‘People’ magazine. He is a member of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize-winning breaking news team at ‘The Denver Post.’
• Deven Rall
  Deven is a Senior News Producer for TMZ.com.  Deven joined TMZ as a PA for TMZ Sports in 2015. He has reported for the news desk since 2016 and also appears on both TMZ TV and TMZ Live. Deven holds a BA in Journalism from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at San Jose State University.
• Lucas Widman
  Lucas is a Senior News Producer for TMZ Sports from Sandusky, Ohio. Lucas joined TMZ in 2015 as an intern and has worked on the TMZ Sports desk ever since. Lucas has a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in partying from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and is a devoted Justin Bieber, Cleveland sports, Blackpink and Cedar Point fan.
• Shirley Troche
  Shirley is a News Producer for TMZ.com. Shirley joined TMZ in 2018 as an intern and has worked on the TMZ.com news desk ever since. Shirley holds a BA in Communications & Spanish Language & Literature with a concentration in New Media from Fordham University.

• Sara Whitman
  Sara is a News Producer for TMZ.com, having joined the team in 2025. She holds a BA and MA in Journalism from Hofstra University and has bylines in Page Six, The Sun, HollywoodLife, Newsday and more.
• Alexa Klohn
  Alexa is a News Producer for TMZ.com. Alexa started as a PA in 2024 after graduating from The University of Arizona with a BA in Film & Television & Public Relations and joined the news desk in 2025 covering entertainment and court reporting.

• Austin Laymance
  Austin is Senior News Editor for TMZ.com. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Laymance started his career at MLB.com and covered baseball for 7 years before moving to TMZ. Austin's also had bylines in the Boston Globe, Houston Chronicle, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Fort Worth Star-Telegram and South Florida Sun Sentinel.

• Mark McGreal
  Mark is a Producer who joined TMZ as part of the research team in 2023. He grew up just north of San Diego, and his work has been featured in the Daily Mail and a number of local California newspapers. He graduated from UCLA in 2021.
• Chad Lindskog 
  Chad is a Producer who joined the TMZ team in 2026 after spending more than a decade working for local newspapers as a sportswriter and editor, primarily covering college sports. Chad is a native Buckeye and graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University.
• Sam Howell 
  Sam is a Producer for TMZ.com. Sam joined the team in 2026. Sam is an East Coast transplant and has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism.

• Christopher Jackson
  Chris is a Senior Web Editor for TMZ. Chris joined TMZ in 2019 as a logger and soon joined the news desk as an editor, where he’s been ever since. Chris has a BA in Studio Arts with a Multimedia emphasis from Loyola Marymount University. In his free time, Chris’ hobbies include creating music, programming and gaming with friends.
• Zoe Sherman
  Zoë joined TMZ as a Senior Web Producer in December 2025. Previously, she led the research team at BuzzFeed Inc. and has since worked as a freelance writer, producer, and researcher for various media outlets. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and a Master’s degree from the University of British Columbia.

• Eva Ortega
  Eva Ortega is a Web Editor for TMZ.com. She joined TMZ in 2025 and holds a B.A. in Bilingual Journalism with a minor in International Relations from San Francisco State University. Eva is an L.A. native and enjoys trying new restaurants, watching horror movies and going to the beach in her free time.

• Alex Rene
  Alex is the Creative Director of TMZ.com, where he has worked for the past 14 years. He lead the Webart Team that works on the TMZ news desk, and helps develop and maintain the TMZ brand and look. Alex has a B.A. in Graphic Design, and UX Design.

• James Duncan
  James is the Art Director of TMZ.com, where he has been a key contributor for the past eight years. Leading TMZ's Web Art Team, James collaborates closely with lead producers, writers, and editors to ensure brand consistency across all visual elements. He drives the creation of artwork for new shows, podcasts, and other TMZ products, while regularly working with teams from the News Desk, Marketing, Product Development, Podcasts, Social Media, and Graphics Departments. Drawing on his expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, James excels at incorporating feedback, refining ideas, and delivering polished, impactful design solutions in TMZ’s fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Tori Corona
  Tori joined TMZ in 2024 as a Web Designer for TMZ.com. Before joining the team, Tori was a Graphic Design Artist, Media Arts Instructor, & Media Production Specialist. Tori has a BA in Graphic Design & Visual Communications, as well as an AA-T in Studio Arts. She loves sketching, cats & The Weeknd.

• Eric Wilson
  Eric is a Supervising Producer overseeing the clips and clearance department across TMZ. Eric joined TMZ in 2024 from Paramount, where he was a Clearance Supervisor for various scripted television series for Paramount and CBS Studios.  Eric is a proud native Philadelphian and Billy Joel expert.
• Roger Corral
  Roger is a Senior Clearance Producer for TMZ.com. Originally from El Paso, TX, Roger joined TMZ in 2016. Roger holds a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas, and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University.
• Drew Shipley
  Drew is a Clearance Producer for TMZ.com. Drew joined the team in 2019 as an Intern for TMZ’s sister site – TooFab.com. Drew has supported the site across many departments, previously operating as Researcher and Coordinating Producer.
• Dylan Berry
  Dylan is a Clearance Producer for TMZ.com. Dylan joined TMZ in 2019 as a Tour Guide for TMZ's Celebrity Tour in Hollywood before transitioning into a Producer role on the Clearance team.

• Eric Sinsley
  Eric Sinsley is a Senior Photo Producer for TMZ.com. Eric joined the TMZ staff in 2022. Eric holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Georgia State University. He previously worked at NBC and ABC.

• Jessica Truong
  Jessica Truong is a Photo Producer for TMZ.com. Jessica joined the TMZ staff in 2022. Jessica got her degree in Marketing and Information Systems from California State University Long beach. Jessica is a big foodie and enjoys going to live music events.

• Prescilla Phan
  Priscilla is a Senior Court Producer for TMZ.com. Priscilla joined TMZ in 2007 as a Court PA and has worked on the court staff ever since. Priscilla holds a MA in Broadcast Journalism from the USC Annenberg School of Journalism.

• Liam Connaughton
  Liam joined TMZ in 2021, not long after graduating from Columbia College Hollywood with a BFA in Film & Television Studies. He's a born-and-raised L.A. native, and when not working with the TMZ team, Liam's writing and directing his own passion projects, and taking them on the film festival circuit.

• Sophia Lesseos
  Sophia joined TMZ as a Research Producer in 2026. A Los Angeles native, she has worked across television, radio, and print, including at KABC, NBC Right Now in Washington, FOX26 in Fresno, and KHTS Radio. She studied journalism at College of the Canyons and California State University, Northridge. Sophia is passionate about true crime, investigative reporting, and the kinds of stories most people would cringe at.

• Lindsey Acquistapace
  Lindsey is an Associate Producer on the Research Team. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Communication and Creative Writing. She started working at TMZ in 2025 after working in the Comedy Development Department at FOX. She is a lifelong fan of TMZ and a pop culture addict.
• Shenelle Charlot
  Shenelle is a Research Associate Producer for TMZ.com, having joined the team in June 2026. Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Shenelle holds a BA in Communications and Media Studies from Notre Dame de Namur University. She has worked in radio promotions for Meruelo Media and as an Associate Producer at Spectrum News 1.
