Mary Murphy (born January 26, 1931 and passed away May 4th 2011) was an American film actress of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. She was born in Washington, D.C., before moving to Los Angeles. Shortly out of high school she was signed to appear in films for Paramount Pictures in the late 1940s. Murphy first gained fame appearing alongside actor Marlon Brando as the "good girl" that tries to reform him in The Wild One in 1953.
