Star Gives Babwa Silent Treatment

Star Jones Star Jones says she's over "The View" – and that she hasn't uttered a word to her old boss Barbara Walters since she got booted from the morning gabfest last summer.

Jones tells TV Guide that she hasn't spoken to anyone at "The View" since her bitch-errific departure, though she does have email correspondence with Elisabeth Hasselbeck because, Star says, they "had a very personal relationship." Still, Star won't spill the beans on what Thin Lizzie talks to her about (job openings?) because she's "extremely discreet."

Still, Jones says that she still keeps up with the show itself, because it's "very difficult not to keep up with it if you read newspapers or magazines or do any work on the Internet." Jones claims that she's Flabulous Gallery: click to launch galleryhappy for Rosie & Co., even though ratings skyrocketed on the show pretty much exactly when Star bolted. Meanwhile, TMZ caught up with Star giving someone else an icy-cold reception yesterday in Manhattan.

Angelina's Hot Passport

Angelina Jolie passport photoAngelina Jolie may have gotten a faceful of tears from her newly adopted son Pax, but Angie's own passport picture will brighten just about anybody's day. The picture was part of Jolie's adoption application, and smokin' hot is putting it lightly.

Meanwhile, Jolie went yesterday to pick up the newly-named three-year-old Pax Thien, but he started crying during their first encounter, perhaps because, as Nguyen Van Trung tells People, he didn't even know he was being adopted! "We just told him that we are taking himAngelina Gallery: Click to launch photos out," says Trung. "You are going to play outside – play with a mother and father." After the initial jitters, however, all went well. Pax – described as "very cheerful and happy" played nice with new big bro Maddox.

Heather Mills Cries Wolf on UK 911

Temper, Temper gallery: Click to launch photosHeather Mills has been overusing the British equivalent of 911, and the police have had just about enough of her bleating. The monopod and soon-to-be-ex-McCartney Mills dials 999 (emergency in the UK) so much to kvetch about the paparazzi, that a Sussex police superintendent complained to reporters, as reported by Page Six, "Clearly, people who make lots of calls to the police run the risk of being treated as the little boy who cried wolf." According to Mills' rep, the dancer-to-be hasn't annoyed the cops and she's simply protecting herself from the paps.

Party Favors: Jay-Z NOT Drinking Cristal ... Joe Simpson Getting Forgetful ... Spielberg Gets into Comedy

Jay ZJay-Z says that even though a bottle of Cristal was brought to his table at a Manhattan club the other night, he most certainly did not drink any of the bubbly, which he famously boycotted last year. ... Joe Simpson, say Rush & Molloy, forgot his BlackBerry after lunch at the Brooklyn Diner in New York. A Diner minion ran after Pa Simpson, but to no avail. ... Steven Spielberg has his sights set on TV comedy on a new series called "The United States of Tara," about an ordinary seeming woman with two kids who happens to suffer from multiple personality disorder. The show, reports Variety, may land at Showtime.

1. Star Jones' problem started when her mom named her "Star". It went to her head! She is arrogant, ungreatful and entirely too self-important. Star, a lot of women get married, you weren't the only one. AND, your weight loss was surgical. Don't act as though you did something miraculous.

YOU NEED TO LEARN TO SAY... "THANK YOU" NOW AND THEN.

2. I just can't figure out why if Angie and Brad are living New Orleans that they don't try an adopt a child who lost his parents during the hurricane. Maybe It's just me but Viet Nam, I could be wrong. Star, life does go on as you can see Rosie is in the middle of everything and she run the show her way and her way only. Joe Simpson is still a pimp and his daughters are his ho's.

3. Heather Mills needs to go away.

4.
Star,

You are way too good for those idiot's over at "The View".

The only reason why there ratings have increased to 75,000 is because some people like to slow down to watch a car wreck. That is exactly what is happening over there.
EVERYDAY ROSIE SAYS SOMETHING HORRIBLE TO OFFEND SOMEONE.
SHE REALLY NEEDS TO GET HELP FOR HER ANGER ISSUES, I HOPE HER CHILDREN DON'T WATCH HER SHOW & START PICKING UP HER BAD MOUTH HABITS.

What get's me is the way Babwa would flush all of her years down the toilet, working hard to gain respect in the jounalism profession and now well, I guess Babwa doesn't give a shit!!!!!!!!!!Backing Rosie doesn't do anything but deduct respect that she worked hard at years ago; and to think she would let one person discredit that absolutely amazes me. I have not watched the show since you left, however via Internet, news, etc,,, we get to see Rosie spew her venom.

I'm glad you found a new gig at Court TV, you look faulous and we (your fans) are pulling for you. Good Luck Star, We Love Ya!!!!!!

P.S. Tell Elizabeth to start looking for a new gig also, she is too good to be around them as well.

5. #2, ITA! That would be a terrific thing to do. I can respect their choice to adopt children from less fortunate places all over the world, but since they are doing it all the time now, would it hurt to adopt a little american child? Just 1? And a hurrican victim would be a great place to start.

And Star... couldn't stand her when she was on the view... I care even less about her now... why are we even talking about her TMZ?

6. #1... Sharon... You're my HERO. I couldn't agree more. "Star" thinks that's how she should be treated. Yet, she can treat everyone around her like shit under her donated shoe. She has no talent other than being a lawyer. Does that, therefore, qualify her for television? At first, she didn't tell anyone on The View how she was losing all of her weight? It was "Star's big secret diet plan". Yeah right! Until Rosie outed her. Sneaky "Star" would have kept America thinking she was working hard in the gym. She couldn't diet and exercise like everybody else. Now, she's walking around looking like Randy Jackson's shar pei. The last 12 months of her contract was spent being a media and sponsorship WHORE and the viewers got sick of it. Babwa and Getty both knew it. She was always full of hot air, a big know-it-all , and always had to have the final say because she was smarter than the rest. The only smart one in the whole clan was Meredith Viera. For leaving that sinking ship.

7. I am a champagne drinker and I must say that Cristal is not as good as people say. It was very popular more because of the cost rather than the taste. If you had a bottle of Cristal, you were looked upon as having "money." Nectar Imperial or White Star Moet and Chandon is a smooth champagne that is #1. As for that balonga smelling piece of s**t who did not want hip hop artist to represent Cristal, stick a bottle up your a**. To be honest, hip hop artist sauch as Jay Z made Cristal what it is today. Most celebrities drink hardcore liquor, wine or beer. Why did he wait so many years to address this b.s. anyway? He was waiting until the perfect time when was wallet reached its $$$$ goal. C'mon these dudes were buying cases at a time. The only other time I have seen Cristal was on the movie, Showgirls that had 0 stars. Now aint that a b***h.

8. I guess it's nice want Angelina is doing. But just wait... these kids will all be writing "best-sellers" someday about mommy dearest.

9. US adoption agency used by Angelina said today that adoption process started in summer of 2006 when they returned to US from Namibia. They only moved to NOLA in January 2007. They are not through adopting. Give them time. Angelina has said today in an interview in Vietnam that she will be a stay at home mom because her family is the most important thing in her life. Angelina puts her family first, loves being a mom. Brad is to adopt Pax as he has done with Maddox and Zahara.

10.
Whatever----GREAT POST!!!

Yes, you are right, whenever their is an awards show, and the presenter's get a lot of free shit, they make sure to get there early so that they can get better choices.

Anyone, who has ever gotten married and is working on it herself, end up being basket cases. Not everyone can afford to hire Wedding planners like the Hollyweird crowd does.
My wife and I went to Vegas, (we were already engaged), and got married there.
Happy to say that was almost 17 years ago.
It's better than the parent's paying for the wedding and the couple end up divorced a couple of years later. The wedding more likely just got paid off, & it's time to pony up the $ for the lawyers.
The Las Vegas wedding was our idea, because we both didn't want the drama that comes along with the planning and seating arrangements at the wedding.

11. Star Jones and Barbara walters seem to be the very same type of person, They may be nice to your face while they hold a butcher knife behind their backs, ready to jab you when you least expect it. Why the horror movie industry has not employed these two women is beyond me.

12. I just love the fact that it REEEEEAAALLY seems to bother people that this BLACK woman didn't let the status quo SCREW her over, and she left on HER TERMS, not THEIRS!!! Tom Cruise can have a fancy wedding, Madonna, ANY- GOD DAMN BODY Else can have a nice wedding, but when WE do it, now it's "arrogance", it's "unnecessary", dare I say, "Up-pity".....!!!!! Get OVER IT WHITE PEOPLE......Get over the O.J. Complex, and get over STAR JONES!!!!
A white woman can Kill her 5 chikldren and Get off TWICE!!!1 no one is picketing her hosipital.....but Heaven forbid a BLACK man should be aquitted by a jury of his peers!!!!

GET OVER IT! AND PLAY FAIR .....FOR F'In once !!!

Kevin,

This is not racial at all.

14. Well of course Pax cried! What a scary thing for anyone, let alone a little boy who doesn't speak the same language as the woman taking him away from the only home he's known. But I have a feeling he'll be just fine once he really figures out what his new life is all about. I mean, come on! Angelina Jolie is his mom!

15. Well, I never liked Star on "The View" and I actually stopped watching for the couple of years before she left. I only heard about the self promotion with the wedding plans, but that sounds about right. She has always come off as an arrogant know it all and I was sick of watching her. I don't mind any of the ladies having a point of "view", but I would like them to at least pretend to have an open mind and listen to the guests or other host for their opinions, it might actually jive with viewers.
Rosie is very outspoken, she needs to be more open also, however, what really rubs viewers the wrong way, is the fact that she has a take-no--prisoners approach. I actually agree with a lot of her views, not all of them, but I think she can go over the top expressing them.

As for Angelina, give the gal a break already! She's doing a very noble thing in adopting these children that would very likely face a lifetime of poverty and neglect.
I hated when Jennifer and Brad broke up, however, there had to be problems within that marriage for it to have ended, and they both seem to have moved on and are happy.
I think that Angelina and Brad are making a very determined effort to have a wonderful union, that will probably never be conventional. But in the end, they seem happy and want to share that with their children. That's all anyone with children can really hope for.

And as for all the advise they seem to be getting about adoption from media and people like us, well, I don't think we get a vote! It's their lives and their money and their futures, I think they are making some mighty fine and selfless choices all on their own. Can't we just offer well wishes and go about looking for ways to better the world in our own back yards?
Peace to all!
