Having international friends is great. You can crash at their pad when you travel abroad. They can teach you bad words in a foreign language. You get enough of them, and you have your own little league of nations. Of course, the worst part is calling them. International rates can really put a dent in your bank account.
Enter Rebtel, the latest inexpensive way to call your friends across the pond. Make calls for about 2¢ a minute. Better yet, you can make free calls if both parties use Rebtel. Once you sign up, Rebtel gives you a local number you use to call your international friends. The best part is that you don't have to run out and buy a VOIP phone like other cheap phone services. Your current cell phone is all you need.
It's a small world after all.

(Page 1 of 1)Disguised as just another news item is a pretty disingenuous way to slip in an ad, Harv. For shame.
Hey, thanks for the info. My boss is originally from the Netherlands and his adult children still live there. Despite my setting up his Skype account to be absolutely foolproof, he still manages to screw it up. He can use his cell phone though. Maybe this is something he can handle.
Wow, I actually think this is awesome! I've lived in quite a few countries and it is quite expensive to keep in touch with everyone with just a cell phone... I think this is a great idea! Advertisment or not.... at least you can actually use this instead of feeding your brain nonsense about celebutantes-gone-wild... which will actually do nothing for you...
I have tons of friends around the world! We've managed to keep in touch via IM and email but nothing is as good as a long phone conversation to really catch-up on the latest news and musings.
Rebtel was THE GREATEST discoveryâ¦not only have I been set free from my PC to roam about, I can actually afford to talk for FREE from my mobile or landline with my friends worldwide. (Talk about a new concept in social networkingâ¦) perhaps even the hot celbs may want to try it....
Post # 6 is part 2 of this advertisement scam?
If it sounds to good to be true um......caution I see red flags ahead.
This is real tacky TMZ
