Dog Leashed -- A&E Pulls "Bounty Hunter"

Things keep getting worse for America's favorite bounty hunter, just days after a taped hate-filled tirade was released.

A&E has now pulled "Dog the Bounty Hunter" from the air indefinitely. "In evaluating the circumstances of the last few days, A&E has decided to take `Dog The Bounty Hunter' off the network's schedule for the foreseeable future," the network said in a statement Friday. "We hope that Mr. Chapman continues the healing process that he has begun."

Officials for the network said the series, one of the network's top-rated programs, has not been canceled. Yet.

9. They already yanked it off the cable schedule a day ago. Now A&E is promoting bringing back old shows to fill in the blanks. Serves the idiot right! Hope you like endless re-runs of Intervention.

12. What a lousy thing for a son to do to his father. I hope he is totally cut out of the family and will. The career of a hard working man totally ruined because of a private phone call between father and son. The son should be ashamed!

13. Big deal, he'll just sign with another network, and A&E knows this....

This is just a dog-and-pony show to make A&E look like they care about something more than ratings......

How bout Spike TV? Gotta be some redneck station out there.... He could do a show on hunting down his sons' azz.....

14. If I spoke to anyone the way Dog spoke to his son, I would be fired too.

15. A&E did what was right. They seem like a reputable cable network and wouldn't put up with this sort of garbage. I didn't read the conversation and I don't care to, but unless this type of speech is part of your everyday language, people don't just accidently slip up and call someone a racial slur. It's deliberate. Saying your sorry and that you have "aloha" for African American's is just a way for him to try to smooth over his actions and it's not sincere.
