One can't let a little thing like infidelity with a Hollywood hooker get in the way of true friendship. Liz Hurley and Hugh Grant were spotted in NYC, both hitting up Barney's yesterday afternoon; Liz was caught leaving the store with Hugh's older brother, Jamie.

6. Ah, the double standards once again. Divine Marie Brown still gets savaged in the press for having been a sex worker. The irony is America would have hated her exponentially more had she been a welfare mother. She worked the streets to support herself and her children, but since the notoriety of the Hugh Grant business, she made money and no longer has to do so. She is legit now. Having been actually busted by the police, she doesn't have the luxury of coyly denying her courtesan past, a la Heather Mills McCartney, the reputed call girl with a Saudi Connection. Most articles about Liz Hurley gloss over her being a single mother: in an eight year relationship with Mr. Grant her birth control worked, but once she thought she'd latched onto a billionaire, Mr. Bing, well, who needs the pill? If you are gonna paint Black folks as having loose morals, take a minute and shine that same light on the white folks too, okay?

12. Hurley and Grant were the best of friends even when they broke up. They were together over 11 years, and their relationship has stayed lasted through the scandal and their breakup. They both have stated that they consider each other "best friends" no matter what.
