3.
TMZ's parent company earns a huge portion of it's revenue from drug ads.
So never say anything bad about the pharmaceutical drug industry because they will come after you like attack dogs.
Especially if you're a celebrity.

11. As someone who has sat on several juries in Southern California, I'm very happy to hear that a celebrity doesn't feel he is above performing his civil duty. By the way, any prospective juror can ask to be questioned in private like Jake did. It was not special treatment. The lawyers ask some extremely personal questions of the propective jurors that can be painful or even dangerous to answer in front a room full of people.

14. I thought you phoned in the next day to see if you got picked for the jury?
Btw Betty Bitter #9 do you feel the same way about all the actors and actresses who have portrayed murderers, sadists and rapists? Didn't think so.

15. In LA it's one day/one trial process for jury duty, so if your name is not called in the assembly room, you are done. No need to go in again for at least a year. If your name is called, it can sometimes take days before your voir dire. You know you're picked or dismissed as soon as the individual voir dire is over. If he's been interviewed and released today, and has to come back tomorrow, then he's been chosen to serve on the jury. And all it takes to be have the questioning done in private is to ask the judge and they will do it in his/her chambers. Everyone gets that option in case there are things about themselves they don't want discussed in front of the other prospective jury members. It's no big deal.
