Don Novello is best known for playing Father Guido Sarducci on "Saturday Night Live" in the '70s. Guess what he looks like now!

Don Novello always sucked. Even tried to make a career out of sucking as Guido Sarducci. What a clown.
Speaking of former SNL members, I saw Tim Kazurinsky (SNL 81-84) in a performance of Hairspray tonight. Tim is still a fine working actor without trying to cling to one really lame gag from SNL. Got to give the man props.
Couldn't figure out why I reconized him since I haven't seen SNL in the 70's. So I looked on IMDB and he has played that charecter in a lot of guest spots, like married with children.
Just thought I would tell you incase other people who weren't alive in the 70's didn't know why they reconized him. Save ya a little time.
To this day I remember his skit when the Catholic Pope went to New York and Sarducci came up with T-shirts that said "I got a peek at the Pope" Funny as hell that guy was. I miss the old SNL.
Father Guido Sarducci was hilarious on SNL! This character often stole the show and made me laugh more than any other skit. Don Novello is awesome when he gears up as Father Guido Sarducci and was a big part of the writing team of SNL. He was instrumental in helping to write some of the most humorous skits on SNL, too. What a talent!
