John Wayne Schultz (born in 1988, in Austin, TX) is a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol. He recorded his first record, "Ropin' Dreams," at age 14. There is some controversy as to whether or not he's eligible to compete on Idol, because of his previous record deal.
