Philipp Patrick Plein (b. 1978 in Munich) is a German designer and fashion designer. Upon completion of the Gymnasium Schloss Salem boarding school on Lake Constance, he studied at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen law. Pleins strong interest in art has early been shaped by his parents. Numerous travel and related visits to museums awoke in him an early interest in art, architecture and foreign cultures. Since 1998, he began exclusive pieces of furniture for his family and friends to design. 2004, a street-fashion collection added. His first shop he opened in the Munich disco Nobel P1. 2008 he visited Heidi Klum and the participants from Germany's Next Topmodel in Barcelona with a "heavy metal" collection, and the models required the international Naomi Campbell and Marcus Schenkenberg Vogue for a campaign.
