Frankie Muniz -- Badass or Bad Hair?

Frankie Muniz is doing his best to ditch the "Malcom In The Middle" ghost that haunts him.

TMZ's cameras were outside trendy lunch spot The Ivy in Beverly Hills when we spotted the actor turned race car driver acting quite different from the goofy Malcolm we all know from TV. The 20-year-old, who was a sporting a tough new haircut that looks like it was inspired by UFC champ Chuck Lidell, walked with a new "cool guy" strut as he described his racing accomplishments.

Does he needs a phone book to see over the wheel?

7. lmfao God, always an ugly-looking kid... always an ulgy-looking adult. I swear, that Max Casella ("Vinnie Delpino", 'Doogie Howser, M.D.') or freakin' Tahj Mowry ("T.J. Henderson", 'Smart Guy') w/ THEIR freaky looks had better shots at making the transition to adulthood actor and marginal talent. lol :-P

9. 5'1 and a bad ass.... if munchkins are bad asses.. sure, he's a bad ass... a bad ass isnt' done thru hair, it most certainly isn't done with tattoos..... tattoos are for those that lack self esteem and lack true athletic ability.. those with tattoos are typically the p***ies... they think it makes them look tough.. it's ironic.. it makes one look like a p***y.... because it shows they try and act tough........ that's the worst thing about it.
