Anna Nicole Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, made a very public plea to her daughter back in November -- urging Anna to start a new life away from drugs.
On a November episode of "The Dr. Keith Ablow Show" Arthur said, "Vickie Lynn, please, you have a family baby ... we're still here for you. You don't have to have drugs, you've got a beautiful baby girl now. You need to start life over, you need to be a great mom and live life now."
Though the cause of Anna's death is as yet unknown, her mother told Ablow she was always concerned about her daughter's drug habits, "I'm disappointed that she got mixed up in drugs and the wrong people ... she lives on drugs now," and added she did not believe Howard K. Stern was the father of Smith's child, Dannielynn.
Virgie also made a chilling prophecy in October on Nancy Grace's CNN show; "If Howard Stern marries her and she ends up dead, then who does the money go [to]? Danny's not there."

This has got to be the saddest story ever. Anna as everyone may know, lived a life not like everyone else. BUT WHO CARES!?!? I feel so sorry for her baby that she will grow up without a mother. I hope Anna's mother steps into her granddaughter's life and fills that void.

Poor Anna, as wild and crazy as she was, all she wanted was fame, money, and happiness. Unfortunately as the money and fame came in, the wrong crowd led her to the drugs and she could never really grasp the happiness. Let's hope she's in a better place now holding Daniel's hand and watching over her baby daughter.

Could someone please tell me how Annas mom, who hasn't seen or spoke to Anna in YEARS--and had not seen or spoken to her grandson in YEARS-- could you please tell me how she is this expert on her daughter?
Answer to #7--unfortunately if neither man is father --her mother could potentially get child--which really saddens me because I feel Anna would DEFINATELY not want that!!!!
it's a shame i really liked anna, but did you all see her like a weak or so ago in that interview where she was just gone on something, maybe that paternity test drove her over the edge.
