Anna to be Buried in the Bahamas

A Florida appeals court ruled today and uphold the previous decision ofJudge Larry Seidlin giving custody of the body of Anna Nicole Smith to baby Dannielynn's court-appointed advocate, Richard Milstein. This paves the way for Smith to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son, Daniel.

Justices Barry Stone, Mark Polen and George Shahood of the Fourth District Court of Appeals heard arguments on Wednesday from lawyers representing Virgie Arthur, Howard K. Stern and Dannielynn Smith. Arthur, Smith's mom, wanted the body to be buried in Texas, while the others wanted the body to be buried in the Bahamas.

23. Way to go Judge Seidlin and Justices!!!! Vergie probably will not have access to stretch limos, free plane tickets and attorneys without ANS and the ongoing publicity!!!! GO HOME VERGIE AND LET ANNA AND DANIEL REST IN PEACE!!!!!! Hopefully Stern and Birkhead will work out an amicable plan for what is best for Dannielyn given this decision.

26. how can the florida court not have jurisdiction over paternity, but it has jurisdiction over appointing guardianship. this whole court system seems to have been paid or bought off by someone!!!!!!virgie should have been appointed guardian over dannielyn and been given the body of anna nicole. hks is going to burn for the things he has done. shame on you howard. you are just trying to hold on to the spotlight, but i'm afraid it has gone out with your cash cow anna.

27. #3 this is not about HKS. This about respecting Anna’s wishes plain and simple.

As self serving as this mother is, I would not be surprised if she appeals the decision to the Florida Supreme court.

Anna Nicole finally get's to rest near her son, where she wanted to be. I hope the Mother is properly pissed. She exhibited the worst behavior in NOT allowing her daughter that peace.
