Punk pixie Avril Lavigne wants to set the record straight: She didn't bad-mouth Britney Spears.
Lavigne was quoted in The Sun earlier this week saying, "What's happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person." Only problem -- she didn't say it.
"I didn't say that," Avril told Los Angeles radio duo Valentine and Lisa Foxx this morning. "I haven't even been talking about her. People ask me about it all the time and I go, 'You know what? I don't know her.'"
Oh well, no chick fight there.

...but, really, what has AL done that is soooo terrible? her bubble-gum pop-songs are harmless enough -- although, a little annoying if you're not a tweenie. personally, i could give a ratz-azz whether she writes her own songs or not. if not, she should be publicizing that fact, given they're pretty unoriginal. the point is, besides spitting on the razzi -- and, that's disgusting, little girl! -- she hasn't done a proportionate thing to deserve so much condemnation --and her husband's band, sum 41 rocks! listen to "still waiting" on tube. she obviously has some good taste. the fact that some bloggers have refered to him as a troll, shows you how willing they are to unfairly judge both of them. i'm proud she's a canadian (and deryck too!) you go, you crazy kids!...
