61. It's a PR stunt like last time. Did she even stay off drugs for 30 days when she got out of the same place?

62. i wasn't suggesting that her parents pick her up. but that she should not drink and drive. well, she shouldn't drink at all since she has a problem. i was also implying that some decent parenting could have helped her avoid this mess.

63. Best Wishes, Lindsay!

This is your first step in a serious and protective program to get "clean and sober" (while confronting issues) so as to see the world, chosen "friends", and family from a different perspective so as to make (new) adult choices required for future success.

Substance abuse is an enormous problem in today's American society and these young Hollywood people only serve as mirrors on behalf of the enormous number of young abusers who are not followed by the papparazi. The young people today are extraordinarily sensitive souls who have been confronted with the fast-moving age of technology, a crazy White House Administration, a senseless Iraq War, beheadings, hangings, peculiar murders in society, Hip Hop music that promotes excessive alcohol and drug use, irrational promiscuous sex, disrespect of the feminine gender, thievery, and violence.

As an older mother of a 19-year-old son, my heart goes out to these young people. There is a proliferation of everything (imaginable) available to them (while individuating from their parents) and GREEDY and corrupt adults who have no personal ethics (only an interest in money) bringing them down at a crucial time in the history of mankind.

TMZ and the papparazi....

Please honor these young people in Hollywood once they do go into therapy as they are at an extraordinarily vulnerable stage in the long-term healing process.

64. Lindsay is nothing more than a rich spoiled brat. Her mothers excuses are disgusting and she should be ashamed of herself. Lets hope she kills herself instead of someone else next time around. News flash Dina her turning 21 next week is not a green light to drink. Perhaps you should spend more time teaching your daughter whats important than having her fitting in with the hollywood scene. Time with her father would do her some good. At least he's sober

65. Her mother should have figured it out a LONG time ago, instead of partying along with her daughter. Now it's time for Lindsay to go into a REAL rehab program instead of a spa trying to pass as rehab. Try Betty Ford or Hazelden, places where real addicts go through real withdrawl and don't have shopping privileges. It's time to face the music, party time is over or she'll be toes up before her 22nd birthday. As for the poor excuse of a person who calls herself a mother, maybe she will get a job of her own and be productive at something.

66. Fact is, if this were my kid or yours, there wouldn't be the pity or the "do over!" attitude.
Parents are excuse makers and buy their kids out of all kinds situations. The average person would be in jail or prison for what "stars" get only a slight reprimand for.

What does this say for the judicial system? What does it say for the person at fault?
As far as calling them "kids"-----Paris is no kid. Britney is no kid. Heck, even Lindsey is 20! GROW UP. Most young adults in the real world do not behave in this manner. If they do, they pay for it. I am sick of the media glorifying these people as idols. And if they are tired of the media, then keep the panties on and stay sober.

You don't see all young and famous people acting in this manner....look at Trumps, and others who don't make the news so we don't even know their names!

The doped out pic of Lindsey made me sad. It reminded me of the dead pictures of Anna Nicole and others. What's next?

67. Someones mom- I too am a mother of a 21 yr. old who drinks occasionally, and he has called me to pick him up. That's because I've drilled into his head the dangers. I am proud to say I still have influence on him, and Lindsay's mother too, could have helped her daughter more than she did. Just because she's 20 doesn't mean her parents couldn't have shown her how to fly strait.

68. But in the end Morris the Cat, she dies, just like ANicole. However, these girls are far worse than Anna, far worse dumber, and drugs far less lethal. The rate they're going, they won't see ANicole's age. ANicole didn't drive drunk, recking expensive cars and endangering other people???? NO, give ANicole respect. She only hurt herself, and left her baby (motherless) to fin for herself. These women are not in ANicole's league, so don't compare!!!!!

69. Addiction of any kind is just sad. This child has the worst parents.. Her mother is a self centered bimbo who is desperately trying to get into her daughter's shining light and her father is an ex-con. Geese, the media needs to lighten up a little bit, but Lindsay, girl... self respect and responsibility. Wake up and join the rest of the world, you live a life that only other dream about and you're blowing your life and your well being.

70. These stars seem to go in and out of rehab more often than I change my underwear. I do wish Lindsay the best of luck though. I feel bad for this young woman. Just look at her parents. Need I say more? Maybe if they were better role models, she wouldn't be in so much trouble. Her mother should be nurturing her, not trying to suck in Lindsay's success for herself. It makes me sick.

71. it's a shame how many famous people ruin their lives and are so unhappy when the have everything they could ever want when most people are miserable because they have nothing. it's absolutely sickening to see and people need to WAKE UP.

i realize lindsay has her issues with her father and other things, but it would be a shame to completely throw away all of her talent for something so stupid (like drugs) that ruins your life no matter how much money you have. (for all the haters she is very talented and i seriously recommend georgia rule. don't let your opinion of her overshadow the talent of her costars felicity huffman and jane fonda. also, what one of you could have played those twins in the parent trap at such a young age???)

stars also need to realize they don't need stints in rehab or eating disorders or a wild partying lifestyle (or slutty clothes) to get the general public's attention. THEY ALREADY HAVE OUR ATTENTION. THEY'RE FAMOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm so tired of stupid people. seems we're surrounded.

72. a very wise friend said once. Be happy with what you have, its better than being miserable with what you dont have.
I guess people like lohans and hiltons havent figured that out yet. what a loss of life.
feel sorrow for lost youth, and lost dreams. Somethings never turn out the way you figure they should.
I know with all their money and fame, it wont keep the badness away. sorrow doesnt know your income or last name. sorrow only knows it has a job to do, and lots of people standing in line. Just wish for better, better sense, better judgement, better choices.
Good luck with making your life worth living lohan.

73. Who cares about Lindsay Lohan...she is the cause of her own problems...I have no sympathy for her.

How are Larry and Dannielynn doing? LOL They seem to be all but forgotten now.

74. Excuse me...but don't you first have to detox before you go into rehab? What kind of a spa - uh, I mean rehab is this exactly?
And WHEN will the bar owners be held responsible for serving a minor? HELLO? Governor Arnold...are you listening? Let's take a good look at the slimeballs that invite these young kids into their establishments. At their age they should be going to a movie and for ice cream - not out partying until all hours - sniffing, shooting, and smoking whatever they can get in the V.I.P. rooms.
I am ashamed of Lindsey's mom - yes, I know Lindsey is over 18 - but PLEASE she was partying it up (with ole' mama) when she was a tweener.
