Dog lover Michael Vick has surrendered to U.S. Marshals three weeks before his formal sentencing was to take place.
ESPN is reporting that the former Atlanta Falcons star made arrangements with the U.S. Marshal Service to turn himself in today to begin serving his sentence -- meaning whatever sentence the judge hands down on December 10 could potentially end earlier.

the whole dog fighting thing just pisses me off... but Michael Vick really took it like a man, the way most black men do in this country, without a word of convoluted and nonetheless true self defense. he took it like a man. i love him for that. God speed sentence.
