Michelle Williams -- Devastated

Michelle Williams is "devastated" by the death of her former fiance, Heath Ledger.

We're told that "words cannot describe" the pain she is in over the news about the father of her child, Matilda Rose.

We're told she is on a plane heading to NY right now.

1. well i read on another interview that he had done and he said that since he has a child he will be lived on through her and that he has no reason to live?? I think that is weird who wouldnt want to be there for their child, who would be that selfish, his daughter is going to grow up and learn that her father decided to take his life only because he had her, He was so effin stupid to think that, that was ok. I have children of my own and i would never want to leave this world without seeing them grow up and bee successful in life, it really pisses me off what he did, he was a good actor and all but he was stupid.

3. Sarahlee...You may want to find out the WHOLE story before blasting him apart. He said that he had mixed feelings about death now..he was at peace with it because he lives on through his daughter, but IF HE SHOULD PASS ON he would feel sad about NOT being there to see her grow up.

And John..whooo boy are you an idiot.....so nice to see you throwing your two cents worth in on the in's and out's of their relationship...just come from their house for dinner? If you're going to show your disdain for someone, at least KNOW them first you donut..you don't like her acting-fine..that's something you can comment on, her personally- YOU DON"T KNOW HER...
it takes all kinds I guess...

My thoughts are with his daughter, family and friends.

4. Keesa,

First of all, who the F*** was talking to you? Why don't you comment on the story not the commenters? Is your life so sad and lonely you have to come here and pick fights? It's none of your G*ddamn business about what anyone says. I stated my opinion and that's it. I didn't attack anyone else's comments no matter how I felt about them. I commented on the story which is the whole purpose, you dimwit.

I'm sure I'm a lot smarter than you'll ever be. I don't need to know someone personally to gauge their personality. Do I know Britney Spears? Do I know her mother? Do I know Jamie Spears? No.

But I can tell you this, they are trailer trash. Britney was used and abused by a back-up dancer who would be homeless at 30 but is now commanding 50K to party. People with self-worth get involved with people on their own level. They don't marry strippers and back-up dancers; or beneath them.

Her mother is unstable, selfish just like her children. Do I need to know them personally to say this?

I don't know you either, but I can tell that you are an annoying bitch. I'm sure you've heard that before busy body.

5. we see them on television and we want what they have but we do not know what they go through. he knew what he was going through and maybe it was too hard and he ended it or maybe it was a mistake only he knows. thats a great waste of talent and beauty and i feel sorry for his daughter because she should not have to grow up without a father. my prayers go out to his family. and for people going through whatever he was going through, get down on your knees and pray because depression even pain killers or antibiotics can drive us to places we never thought that we could go. Heath, you were a favourite in my book and i love you.

9. I just seen on mtv news about Heath Ledger's Death. That is so sad how Matilda has to live the rest of her life with out a father. Just like one of the comments said that it is going to be wonderful and sad to look at Matilda Rose and see her father in her.I think that Heath's death is probably the one of the saddest things to hear. I mean I was surely shocked when I seen the headline on the mtv news. He was also a wonderful actor.Heath is loved very much by his fans and he WILL be greatly missed.

10. My heart goes out to Michelle and her daughter Matilda. God bless them and give them the strength to continue on. Although Matilda is almost 2, she will miss him a lot. And people please make nice comments, and stop posting stupidity, and have pitty and respect for others pain.

11. So Amazing. People die everyday and no one notices. That person who gave a blanket to the homeless. Or the one who delivered food to the elderly. Soldiers dying everyday. But a movie star dies and the world stops. Why? I'm not saying Heaths death wasnt tragic, but all he did was memorize lines. What did he ever do for any of you that you're so devastated? What has any celebrity or athlete ever done for any of us? Not too much. We are too caught up in these people. Wake up people and see the big, real picture.

12. Having been through this type of situation myself, my thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle and Heath's families. Hopefully they will get the privacy and respect they deserve while trying to deal with this tradgedy. He was a great actor who will be truely missed.

15. When death comes knocking at the door of someone so young and vibrant, it strikes fear in most of us whether we know it or not...it reminds us that death doesn't pass any of us by. Heath will always live on in the memories of those that loved him. I feel the most sad for his daughter as her memories will be through the memories of others. My sympathies to the family. A thought...A few years ago, a relatively healthy coworker had come home from being on a cruise during which it turns out he had developed a case of some type of pneumonia and he died in his sleep that same night so it is not improbable that something similarily tragic could have happened here. A comment I have otherwise is that I hope what the housekeeper heard was actual snoring and not Heath gasping for air in his last moments. It'll never be known if reacting sooner could have made a difference. It's all too sad!
