Celebrity Justice
Brit Shops for Car During Intervention

There is a lot of behind-the-scenes anger surrounding the Britney Spears' intervention, and the anger is directed at one Sam Lutfi, pictured here with Brit and mama Lynne today at Beverly Hills Mercedes.

As TMZ first reported, the family is staging an intervention so Britney can get help for her bipolar disorder. Family sources say they are furious at Lutfi, claiming he pushed Brit into going to B.H. Mercedes today to buy a new car -- in the middle of the effort to save her.

One source says the family believes Lutfi has been a "counterproductive, disquieting force" who has done nothing but harm.

1. To live compassionately and lovingly is key. TMZ staff, is this how you live? In your quest for the almighty dollar, can you rest your head at night with a clear conscience free of guilt? If so, you are sociopathic, because what you do is wrong and terrible. There is freedom of speech and there is freedom of press, but what you do, having no internal filter for what is right or wrong, will leave you with nothing that is important in the end. You can not take fame, money and fortune with you when you die, so I have to ask, is your life’s work worth it? Will you be able to say you lived appropriately without hurting others? Furthermore, the things you buy with your dirty money, and that is what it is when you have no regard for others to go through life and get paid for it, are those things worth it? Did you need to hurt that celeb to get that car, house, etc… You can’t take that money with you in the afterlife and the things you buy with that money are tainted…. I pity your souls. On another note… The minute you see a celebrity with their child, you should know that picture is one that should not be taken. Just don’t do it. You are creating a dangerous environment for these innocent children. In Britney’s case, she is sick. A very sick girl who was lost long ago. Yes, you have all the right in the world to take her picture, but should you? Nonetheless, a live feed? If you feel no remorse, I hope you seek treatment as well.

5. Then why can't they get Britney to GET RID OF SAM?? Did she buy SAM A CAR?????

I'm confused as to why they can't have her INVOLUNTARILY COMMITTED?? I know she's an adult, but she's an adult who has TOTALLY LOST HER MIND!!! So why can't her family have the court order an involuntary commitment?? Surely a psychiatrist would back them up on that??

12. intervention 'rich hillbilly' style (or lack thereof)?

Posted at 3:59PM on Jan 29th 2008 by ben

13.
TMZ, you guys make all this crap up as you go along, don't you? And "intervention" is a specific thing (predicated on the element of surprise of course), not just the appearance of a mother, a little crying, and shopping for a car.

This "article" is laughable.

15. There isn't one person in Brit-Brit's life who is interested in helping her. They just want to keep the gravy train going. COOL!! This is going to make one hell of a "Movie of the Week"! I love the Britney Spears Show. I hope they renew it for next season!
