Lawyer Showdown in Britney Case

Britney SpearsSources tell TMZ Britney's divorce lawyers and the lawyers representing the conservatorship may collide in a "last one standing" dispute.

We know Britney's divorce team at the law firm of Trope and Trope has been dealing with newly-exiled Sam Lutfi and believes he is well-meaning. Jamie Spears, the freshly appointed co-conservator, has made it clear he dislikes the Trope firm and wants them out of Britney's life -- in large part because of the firm's alliance with Sam.

Lutfi is furious at the commissioner who issued the various orders today and has been in touch with Trope and Trope numerous times this afternoon. Based on those conversations, the firm believes the orders defy Britney's wishes because she feels great ill will toward her dad.

So here's the scenario: It's possible Trope and Trope could go to court Monday at 1:30 PM PT and challenge the choice of conservator. If Jamie Spears is in it for the long haul, it's also possible one of his first orders of business will be to 86 Trope and Trope from Britney's life.

10. I dont think that Freeloading Lutfi can fight it.. afterall as of today he no longer has a job!!! I would love to see Donald Trump in Lutfi face say "Lutfi, your're fired!"

Britney needs counseling while at the hospital (at least a month solid) or be transferred to a happier place for counseling for at least a month and then a counselor needs to live with her until she finally starts acting normally. The house needs to be cleaned out of all prescription and non-prescription drugs and someone needs to mother this girl as it seems she was never really mothered properly. She needs to be taken care of.
I do believe she will eventually be OK.

12. Um, This is stupid! they are her divorce lawyers and therefore should have no dealings w/ a case outside of that. They can't rep for Sam because that would be a conflict of interest! (or something.........this whole thing is crazy)

14. The parents need to get rid of Trope, Trope and Lufti---and anyone who tries to stand in their way. So Sam's "lawyers" that he refers to are Britney's lawyers--so she is paying for him to have lawyers? Yea---get rid of all of them.
