Britney's Love-Hate Relationship with Dad

Britney Spears has expressed hatred toward her father -- that, we know. Yet sources say today she asked that both of her parents be at her bedside. And that could create problems for the Trope firm when they go to court tomorrow and ask for Jamie to be 86'd as conservator.

Britney is bipolar and has wild mood swings. She can love someone and hate them in the same hour. So just because she told Trope lawyers this weekend that she hates her dad -- it may not be enough to convince the Commish.

But here's what Trope may have going for them. Britney has expressed deep animus toward her dad for a long time and to many people. We know the Trope firm is attempting to put together an arsenal of witnesses who will try and convince the Commissioner that the hatred and distrust toward her dad is consistent over time.

My son has a mental illness and when it first manifested, he thought I was trying to poison him and would either not eat so he lost several pounds in several days or after he ate he would vomit on purpose. On the first ER visit, he thought the needle the doctor used to draw blood was actually a lethal injection. He thought all his friends and coworkers were plotting against him. It takes weeks and sometimes over a month, for medication to fully take effect. Generally, unless a parent of an adult mental patient has been proven to be abusive, the parent is the person most likely to be legally appointed conservator. I can tell you from my experience that family is who a mental patient relies upon. Friends disappear out of ignorance, fear, discomfort, all sorts of reasons. Some just don't know what to say or do. I think to change the conservator too quickly would be unwise.

63. I'm sick of hearing about these leeches coming along & thinking they can latch onto our children & drain them of all their finances & sanity because they're too lazy to work. This is sounding just like the Anna Nicole Smith story where she along with her son ended up dead. I hope the judge does the right thing & lets the father continue looking after his daughter. She is too mixed up now to make her own decisions & will thank him one day for saving her life.

64. Look here, folks. The Britard was married for less than 24 hours once. We have known the obvious for so long that it is time to let her make her own bed and drown in her own world. GO TMZ, and all the paps that should not for one second let up. If she can make millions from such little talent on the spotlight, it is her payday earned to have the Pap machine on her like a Pap smear.
The kids will likely end up growing up rather normal. I bet my life on it! Feel no sympathy for them. They are resilient and will be fine.

Britney and Jamie Lynn since they were little girls. These hillbillies have been
inbreeding for generations. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that he's responsible
for the Jamie Lynn pregnancy. The whole disgusting lot of them are nothing but

WOW, that's a pretty hateful accusation to make on someone you DON'T EVEN KNOW. Why would anyone want to be so cruel about someone they have never even met? Why would anyone think all problems with children are because of their parents? What ever happened to taking responsibility for your own actions? Britney's dad is doing exactly what he should be doing. Fighting for his daughter's rights and trying to protect her from the vultures$

71. The problem with Brit's lawyers is that they have a relationship with Sam Lufti and it would not surprise me one bit if that is who Britney's lawyers have in mind. That man is a manipulator and has other restraining orders against him. I believe that the lawyers that Mr. Spears hired will argue that Britney is bi-polar, so that any conversation that she had with her attorneys (who were hired to fight for custody of her kids, not this) cannot be considered trustworthy testimony of Britney's true desires.

74. Isn't it a little strange this bunch is now saying Britney hates her father. That's the same thing Howard Stern & his lawyers claimed in the Anna Nicole lawsuit regarding Anna's mother. Oh yes, the Trope & Trope lawyers who represent Howard Stern & Larry Birkhead are the same group of lawyers we're talking about here & who ended up with Britney & are in cahoots with Sam Lufti. Remember Howard even taped the hate tapes earlier for evidence to fit in with his plan to discredit Anna's mother. I wonder if Sam has also made tapes of Britney saying she hates her parents.

When I first heard trope was Britney's lawyer I had a funny feeling this bunch was up to no good. I wonder how they happened to end up representing her....did they seek her out? They should never have been allowed near her hospital room because they are only representing her in the custody battle & don't have a dog in this fight except that they are now trying to weasel themselves in here to get rid of Britney's father. Jamie Spears bring out all the pit bulls & fight with every ounce of strength in your body to get rid of this bunch. They remind me of the mafia.
