Judge to Newsvixen: You Got Off Easy This Time!

Newsmess Alycia Lane apparently wasn't quite crazazy enough to assault a cop -- and will get off with just a day of community service for an alleged smackdown back in December.


Lane was in court this morning, where the Manhattan DA took the felony charge of assault down to a minor obstruction and harassment charge -- to which Lane plead not guilty. According to the DA, the scratches she made on the NYPD officer in question -- when she also allegedly called the cop "a f***ing dyke" -- didn't rise to the legal definition of physical injury.

"I'm so glad this is over," said Lane. She didn't respond when asked if her next gig might be in wrestling. If Lane stays arrest-free for six months, the case will be dismissed and sealed.

5. I am from PA. and she was fired from CBS3 over this, She apparently was with Chris Booker from radio station Q102 when this happen. Now all the other news stations are LOL at these people

9. Yikes, I'm an idiot. "Pleaded" is the correct form, but both "pled" and "plead" are legitimate forms of the past tense. I should look these things up before I call people bitches.

12. It is always beneficial to be beautiful, even when you have physically and verbally assaulted a police officer. SHAME on the judicial system for letting this toxic waste plea bargain her way out of the mess SHE created. As Judge Judy says, "beauty fades, but dumb is forever!" And Alycia Lane has an incredibly long time to spend with her deficiency. She is still skanky and nasty.
