You'd think the winners of the Super Bowl would charter a private jet to DC for their honorary ceremony with the President at the White House -- so what the heck are Eli and Co. doing taking a train?
Sure it's cheaper ... but these guys can probably afford the extra couple hundred to fly first class.

(Page 1 of 1)Maybe because traveling from NY Penn Station to DC Union Station is a hell of a lot faster and easier than dealing with airports, security, commutes to and from both airports, etc. Any sane person takes the train on the NYC to DC route. And believe you me, first class on Amtrak Acela ain't cheaper than a flight.
At least they are not hypocrites like some celebrities, flying around in charter jets preaching to us how we need to sacrifice to prevent global warming.
Exacto. Save money and fuel. Especially since it's a meeting with the pres. although come to think of it he'll just waste the money they'd save elsewhere.
I agree celebs should put up or shut up. Telling us to go green and they driving their Bentleys and mercedes and Hummers all over creation. The only one I can see is it's really difficult to take a train to Europe from the US.
Boooooorrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnnnggggggggg!
Eli Manning? Bitch, please!!
The Manning's out-class all other sport celebs by a mile. They are good people, which is why bad people don't like them.
