Someone screwed this one up. That is NOT Cassandra (Elvira) in the red hair. Look back at some of her older pictures, out of costume.....This picture can NOT be her. Doesn't even resemble Cassandra.

Elvira rocks my socks. I'm so glad there's someone out there who can be kooky, but not freaky and crazy and addicted to all sorts of drugs.

The only thing phony about her is her makeup!! Every time I've seen her without her Elvira look, she just seems like such a humble, down to earth woman. Go get 'em Cassandra!!

It'll be tough to pass the torch to someone else. The Elvira character was so original back in the early 80's. Sure, they could find a hot woman to pless dress-up, but it is Cassandra's own quarky personality, wit and humor, and down to earth nature that made Elvira connect with people.
