Unholy Moses! Mel Gibson and Britney Spears are going on vacation together? Apocalypto!
The Mayor of Mel-ibu is taking his neighbor Brit to Costa Rica, reports "The Insider," and they just left about half an hour ago from L.A. Brit is apparently with Papa Jamie but can't take the rugrats because they aren't allowed outside the US without special approval. Not totally random, of course: the crazazy pair had dinner at a Studio City restaurant a couple months back.
In a related development, the TMZ universe has officially imploded.

Pa Spears is an idiot...he has his drug addict daughter spending a weekend away with a heavy drinking anti-semetic chauvinist pig. Both Pa & Mel are drunks & Mel is probably the most hated star in hollywood thanks to showing us all who he really was. Holly...Mel is doing it hoping to rehabilitate his own image. Pa should not be selling her out to anti-semetic drunks, it is disgusting, and if they'd appointed an independent conservator for her, I'm sure they would have used better judgement and picked better people for her to be socialising with. If she is really vulnerable, then hanging around an anti-semetic drunk is not going to help her, and certainly won't help her image....there are lots of jews in hollywood and the record business that won't be impressed. Unless you are racist yourself, you usually don't hang out with them.
