She is a very good actress. Actors should demand better scripts. As a writer it makes us all work harder, or at least it should.

She isn't that big an actress where she can just diss people without a LOT of backlash.She could have not submitted her name without dissing the writers. She forgot that Hollywood is really a small place. There are writers in almost EVERYTHING you do in Hollywood, including movies, where she wants to be.

Atleast she tells it like it is - her character was made to look like a blithering idiot this year; in fact, the whole show sucks this year. The best thing they can do is get rid of MEREDITH. How annoying is she? Or just give everyone else spin-offs and leave Meredith by herself. Let's see who tunes in to that. I give Katherine H. props for just saying what everyone has been saying about Greys all year. IT SUCKS!

You know while I donât agree with the way she handled it or what she said in general, she does have legitimate talent there. crahazy You obviously donât know what it takes to be an actress with that idiotic statement of yours. And Yes I agree her statement made her sound like an ungrateful brat. But she provides entertainment in her roles and thatâs her job. So as long as she entertains me in the movies she has been in, for the most part she has, then she does her job. Being an ungrateful bitch doesnât change the fact that she has acting abilities. Look at George Clooney. That guy continues to be a douche and heâs constantly getting work.

I admire that unlike every other actress working on TV that acts like the drivel they're handed is Manna from Heaven, she was willing to call a spade a spade. Across the board women on TV are handed anemic, half-written characters that they still manage to imbue with life. Heigl is one of those actresses, and is locked into contract on a series that has become little more than a punchline. Heigl's candor and backbone should be admired. You can tell from interviews that she began to take issue with the writers decisions when her character slept with a married man--and little was made in the series of that ethical line that was crossed.
Of course, jealous woman haters with take issue with any female they deem as ungrateful.
