Oohh...we LOVE iFly! There's one near us in Union City and at first I thought Luke Perry went to that one...but nope! That's pretty awesome!
I loved him in the movie premiere "A Gunfighter's Pledge, last Saturday night on Hallmark. I highly recommend it!!!
James Taylor said it correctly "Fortune and Fame, such a curious game. Perfect strangers call you by name..."
I can not stand people watching every move I make, wanting a piece of whatever they think they can get. Having to be quiet, everyone, anyone or nobody is listening to what you say. You don't know who does and who does not recognize you. Treating you better than they should or conversely worse, depending on what they think is deserved based solely on your name.
I admire this man greatly. I have never met him. I've read tidbits about his alternative fuel work, his point of view, I've happened across some quotes or interviews...well I have not heard anything that was less than admirable in my opinion.
He's appears a dedicated father, a kind person, gentle, seems loyal and honest. I think he's a very handsome man. I don't see anything wrong with a hardworking, down to earth, man's man. This caliber of man seems only in my dreams, somehow hidden or out of reach. Not driven by wealth and fame, but by passion. A passion for what he does.
So whomever thinks he does not pass muster, we don't care. Luke wouldn't care and I don't care. We love our hardworking man from the midwest. We love him and wouldn't mind at all if he'd leave Hollywood. I could take care of this man. Let philanthropy be what drives us, taking care of the earth and encouraging others to do the same.
Admired by many, understood by few.
He's a good example of what happens to actors who play teens in their mid/late 20's. Suddenly they "look old" and lose fan interest, and they can't get 'grown up' roles.
