Excuse me, did you just say "Padres Legend Steve Garvey"? Just exactly where were you in the 1970's? Oh yeah, that's right - you weren't even BORN yet! Hello....Steve Garvey played for the LA Dodgers for 13 years (1969 to 1982), which is where he became a legend. He only played for San Diego from 1983 to 1987. If you're going to talk about baseball players, do your homework. I call strike three on you - you're out! (By the way, Cindy Garvey can probably give Cynthia Rodriguez a few pointers in the fine art of divorcing a philandering MLB spouse - Cynthia, you should call her!)

#6 completely disgusted - As a die-hard, longtime Dodgers fan, I must agree with you. Steve was one HELL of a baseball player, but what an egomaniacal, arrogant, misogynistic man...I feel bad for any woman that got caught up in his B.S. Still, being a baseball fan, I must also give him kudos for his ballplaying skill. Talent does not make a guy a gentleman, unfortunately.

Not only was Garvey a Dodger legend he was a "player" as well....he and my buddy A-Rod were cut from the same mold...Cindy Garvey give C-Rod a call..you might be able to compare some stories...

To #7 Dodger Girl, kudus to you too. I agree he was a great ball player. I used to be a die hard Dodger fan from 1959 until around 1980. The best years were 1959 to 1966. Loved Koufax and was lucky enough to see him pitch a game in the summer of '63. But frankly when Tom Lasorda became manager I stopped being a fan. But as for Steve Garvey he obviously thought he was God's gift to women and he was no gift. Just a jerk.

Great ballplayer and if he could have kept his penis in his pants he might have been a senator representing the state of California Just how many babies daddy is he... 3 legit ...2 ,3, or more not. Hey was just as bad as A-Rod, just he didn't have the mediak folloiwing him around. They actually had agents and attorney's following them around. He wasn't the first ball player with a loose penis and he won't be the last. I love when they try to come off all goody goody.....the 80's team was the worst!
