5. Alas, she is correct. The LA police chief is very wrong, and I'm surprised that his superiors are not reprimanding him. It is wrong to try to say that some people are less entitled to live their lives than others because the public has an insatiable appetite for celebrity gossip. That is an illness of the public, not the celebrity. Celebrities should be able to move around freely like anyone else. If we want to start judging people, then parents with kids should not go out or people who are in school should not go out. It's so dumb.

11. Excuse me, but she is living her life in a fishbowl and her commented that she now had a girlfriend and wasn't out partying all night long. He should be suspended for that? People need to get thicker skins. Lindsay is entitled to her opinion, so is Chief Bratton and everyone else in this country. Some people have just become hyper-sensitive over every little thing and demand suspensions or else litigate things to death. Grow up!

13. Even though Bratton is a public official, who should be more discreet, he is still entitled to his opinion. Besides, he didn't say anything that hasn't been said by just about every celebrity reporter on the planet. Aliens near Alpha Centauri have probably heard the gay-gossip by now.

14. baloney, yeah she's a public figure, so let them comment on her clothes, her movies etc...it's NOBODIES place to comment on anyone's ones personal life. It's just over the line. The top asscop isn't her mother or God, he's a cop, and should just do his job.
