Amy WinehouseIf you ever think Amy Winehouse is going to show up where she is supposed to, well then you deserve to be disappointed.

Wino was scheduled to perform at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris last night -- but didn't show "due to illness," according to a spokesman.

We'd wish Amy a speedy recovery, but what's the point?

17. People say that you have to hit rock bottom before you want or get help. I thought she hit it a long time ago. Such a waste...she has talent but no morals.

21. I love Amy Winehouse's music. Her voice and talent are amazing. That said, this is a very, very ill person. Her behavior may be a result of the drugs, either the one's she's on now or the damage don't by last year's. Regardless, she suffers from chronic physical and mental health complications, and deserves our pity.

This woman shouldn't be chased by the media anymore, because when we find her in the obit's someday, I want to remember her for her fantastic music in a good way. I want to mourn her passing as from a chronic disease and use her story to help people learn about the benefits of living cleanly.

22. Like it or not Amy W. is going to be around a long time. Yea, she might have a drug problem and blow off
concert appearances, but when you have her money do you really care? In 20 years people might be saying
"Amy who?" or she might be selling out huge outdoor arenas.

23. Amy Winehouse is dying and no one should mock those with incurable debilitating diseases no matter. Let her live her days out in peace. Try being a little kinder to the very sick and dying.
