Britney -- Abs-olutely Perfect

What Britney lacked in dance moves on "Good Morning America," she definitely made up for in the ab department.

Spears brought her now infamous "Womanizer" strutting/arm-flailing routine to a new song, "Circus" but her stomach made for quite the distraction.

Another welcome distraction -- the birthday girl's fam, who sat in the second row.

91. This poor girl is far from well. Daddy has cleared the decks of the parasites and has a firm hand on her life, but having nice abs does not mean she is okay. She still has somebody running her life, does not have custody of her kids, and I'm afraid they're just slapping her 'pretty look' on and making her go back to her old routine so that she can once again pump out money for Mommy and Daddy. I hope she is getting really good physical and mental care. Seeing her crying on TV and saying her life has no passion and that she is 'sad' is a huge red flag that this is still, unfortunately, one very sick young lady.

94. I saw the performance and there was no dancing. She moved left, right, pumped her mid section. Her body looked great but she is not a model she is a performer and in doing that she pretty much sucked.........

I have got to comment on her "I want a father figure for my kids" Raising them is a hard job. First of all they have a father figure that might I add YOU chose for them. Hard to raise please you gave them up missy. Kevin is raising your kids while you try to get it back together.

I know alot might disagree with me but if she was model then yes she is the comeback kid with that body but as for performing SHE LOST IT but did she ever really have it to begin with.

95. No disrespect."Jessica" but a 42 year old JANET JACKSON at this point would dance circles around Britney.,. I disagree wih some of you all also... if you gonna "Comeback" as a dance artist, especially after the vma disaster...YOU COME BACK HARD or don't come back until you're ready to COME BACK HARD!!!! She basically did the same thing like the vma just with more visual production and presented her self more fit.

I agree, except the money isn't mostly for Mommy and Daddy, in my opinion. Britney was on the road to bankruptcy due to her massive mismanagement of her fortune before the conservatorship took over, and I believe that the estate has been working to stop her money hemorrhage and bring in new income so that there will be sufficient funds to provide a stable future for Britney's kids, as well as to provide enough resources for Britney's mental care for the rest of her life.

By all indications, Mommy and Daddy are getting and will continue to get a much smaller amount of money than Britney's kids and Britney, herself (mostly via the payments for Britney's ongoing care).

I don't think that Britney is mentally or emotionally capable of being a good mother to her children. The courts seem to agree so far, as K-Fed still has full custody with Britney only being allowed visitation. Before she will be allowed to have even partial custody, she will have to come off of the conservatorship, and there is no sign that this is going to happen any time soon, given that the conservatorship was recently extended indefinitely.

If Britney ever demonstrates to the psychiatrists and the courts that she is capable of caring for herself as an adult, she will then have a chance to obtain custody rights. I hope for the best for her, but sadly, I fear that her mental illness might be a lifelong disability for her.

Given that Britney isn't capable of responsible mothering, she is indirectly helping her children using the only capabilities that she does have: earning money via her performances, albums, and product lines.

99. Who cares if she slapped off the flab? She remains a talentless media creation. Whatever.

100. PS: I don't believe that Britney _can_ retire right now, due to the financial mess she created for herself before the conservatorship took over. If she doesn't bring in more money, at least in the short run, it's likely that she will run out of money completely within a few years, which will not allow her to provide sufficient care for her kids during a retirement. If she can pull together some semblance of her former "brand" and stabilize her finances, she might then have a chance to retire with enough resources to provide for the kids and for her own psychiatric care.

To review Britney's financial situation: 2-3 years ago, she had $100-120 million to her name. About a year ago, she only had $60-80 million of that left. At this rate of money loss, she would be bankrupt between 2009 and 2011. The conservatorship is trying to clean up that money mess, and I'm sure they have made progress, but I believe that she still needs more income in order to stabilize her finances. That is why I think that they are sending her out on tour right now, as this is the only way that the estate can bring in some much-needed funds.

I sincerely hope that Britney _does_ retire once her money situation is in order, and I hope that this happens sooner, rather than later.

A talentless but STILL POPULAR media creation. That's the way it is with many media creations.

102. If you turn the volume off you see just how awkward her "dancing" is. She's clearly had the same moves burned into her head (no variation in the past three or so outings. because she's not yet comfortable back in the spotlight. She's nowhere near the performer she once was. I can tell to watch her that she's on meds, not that it's not a good thing she is. However, if she's going to do such a half assed routine the least she could do is actually sing or can't she do that if there's no auto tune available?

103. For anyone lining up for concert tickets you now have a preview. Here's what you will get for your money. Lip-synching instead of singing. Walking around with a lot of hand movement instead of dancing. Songs put together with a lot of computer programming instead of musicianship. Stale eroticism from a twice-married mother of two who likes to walk into gas station restrooms barefoot and who chain-smokes like a chimney. If you find any of this entertaining, God help you.

104. 100. ...
What I am finding sad is the absolute nastiness in people, who make fun of someone's mental health issues when they are trying to get better. ... I find it truly sad that people go on the attack when someone suffers from a mental illness, and think that it is funny. Would you do the same of someone suffering from diabetes or cancer? ... My daughter is deeply affected by her illness, however, with the medications she is a different child, better able to cope in a world that clearly discriminates and mocks who she is...a child with a mental illness. ... As for my daughter, I am hoping that while Britney is well, she can serve as a beacon of hope that even when things hit rock bottom, there is hope of a return to normalm and an understanding that she is not alone, that even people who are rich and famous can be afflicted with this, and just like everyone else, are subject to the cruelty and insensitivity that comes with it. Britney, I wish you well in your recovery and ongoing treatment!

I feel for you and especially for your daughter, and I applaud you for coming here and expressing this. Perhaps you will help a few people here realize how misguided they are in attacking Britney because of her illness. God bless you and your daughter.

Sadly, I fear that most of the people here who really need to hear your message are too childish, small-hearted, and cruel to learn anything or to improve their attitude.

You are hopelessly naive if you think that any of the things you mention would detract from Britney's ability to entertain millions of people. And I'm being quite generous to you in assuming that your attitude is based on naivete rather than cruelty.
