Bear Grylls -- the snake eating bad-ass from Discovery's "Man vs. Wild" -- just busted up his shoulder during an Antarctic expedition.
The seriousness of the injury is still unknown, as the former member of British Special Ops awaits an official medical evaluation.
No word yet as to how soon they can release Bear back into the wild.

He is such a fake. He was caught being a fake so now he has a disclaimer before each show admitting he gets help along the way. Check Youtube, he pretends to be on a deserted Island and he is really at a resort. He also pretends to be out in the middle of no where and there is actually a busy road 10 feet from him.

The Daily Mail in England is saying it was an extremely serious accident and that his shoulder was hurt so badly, the bone was protruding out of it.

His show is fake. #8 is dead on.
He has been caught sleepoing in hotel rooms at night and faking shots on multiple occasions. Survivorman is the real deal. This guys is a joke.

This guy, Bear, and the other "Survivorman" -- killing animals for no good reason. They could just tell us what to do instead of demonstrating every awful, disgusting step of trapping and killing these creatures that would have died within the normal order of things in their own habitat. All these deaths make it that much harder for the lives of the predators that TRULY depend on those he butchers. Unfortunately Bear's misfortune won't stop this assinine programming but hopefully someday everyone will get tired of it - just like I did.

Doesnt matter to me if his show is 100% fake or not, if you watch his show, there are lots of things to learn there. He is trying to educate you on how to survive in the wild, if you had too. Dont be so critical!

I love his show and I don't know why. I would never go camping but just like the movie "Grizzley Man"
He is so interesting but I am glad they had to come clean with the fact they stay at hotels and he has
a lot of helpers when he out their ALONE in the wilderness.
