"KUALA LUMUR, Jan 20 - Pas Youth has today called for a boycott of Rihanna's February 13 concert to protest against the offensive and suffering of the Palestinian people.
Kamaruzaman Mohamed, Federal Territory Pas Youth chief, said that the concert is not in keeping with the local culture and Rihanna in Malaysia would disgrace to Asian culture.
In a statement today, Kamaruzaman said that Israel was is funded by the American public and this included Rihanna who lives in California.
He said that this could be construed as supporting Israel's offensive in the Gaza.
"It doesn't matter if Rihanna is involved in the issue, but to us, she is an agent of polluting young peoples' minds around the world through her songs."
He also added that the campaign of boycotting US products that included their artistes must go on.''
