Madonna's efforts to adopt another child are seriously under fire by a British organization that says she needs to ease up on the whole "give a kid a chance" thing.
According to a statement released by Save the Children UK, Madonna may be sending the wrong message by going through with her plans to adopt a second child from the poor African country, Malawi. A welfare official and a person involved in the adoption proceedings said the singer plans to adopt a 4-year-old girl.
The org believes Madonna's actions may unintentionally feed more interest into the criminal adoption industry in Malawi. Madonna faced criticism during the adoption of her son David Banda in 2008 after she allegedly circumvented the traditional two year waiting period by using her money and influence.
Some people may think buying people is wrong ... but everyone agrees that living with Madonna would be way worse.

I don't get this. Angelina Jolie has adopted many times as an unmarrried woman, although not from Malawi. As for Save the Children , maybe the ease with which Madonna can use money and influence to speed up the process is a good thing and will bring more attention to the criminal adoption issue (porbably child sex-slaves). Clearly whatever laws (and enforcement) Malawi has in place now regarding adoptions are not effective if criminal "adoptions" are such a significant issue.
There are no more orphans left to adopt in these United States?

I think Madonna has achieved a lot for herself in her life, but i don't think her life is exactly a stable envirnonment to be adopting more children, what's up with the boy toy being around her kids he's young enought to be her daughters boyfriend, Maybe she should get her life in order before she brings any more kids to her life, there are a lot more stable families out there who can offer just as good a life if not better without stange men coming in and out of their lives. Kids are not a hobby.
I have to agree, arent there plenty of kids right here in the US that need a good home? Maybe Madonna is controverisal, but I guarantee she can provide enough of what any child would need, for the rest of their life.

Madonna will be 70 when the kid graduates highschool. I can't believe someone wakes up at age 50 and sayd, " I want to adopt kids from africa".... If she wants to make a better statement and stand out better than weird angelia jolie, than help out the hundreds of thousands of starving kids in the USA!! People don't adopt from the USA because the laws here make it too easy for the biological parents or other relatives to take the child back. I have watched more than one friend's heart break after the courts returned a child to a biological mother or grandmother. Besides, is there really a better reason to use your money and influence than to rescue a child from a life of poverty and disease?
