Before wowing the "American Idol" judges with his shrieks and black nail polish, Adam Lambert glammed it up with shrieks and black lipstick.

Back in 2004, Lambert put on his best goth Liza drag performing in "The Zodiac Show."

Gerard Butler Charged with Crime

Gerard Butler has another notch on his belt, but this time it ain't a chick ...he's scored a criminal charge.

Butler has been charged with misdemeanor criminal battery in connection with a run-in with a photog on October 7, 2008. At 2 AM, after a premiere party for "RockNRolla," Butler left Crown Bar in a limo and allegedly popped a papper in the lips three or four times. The L.A. City Attorney filed the charge yesterday.

Butler's reps have said the papper had stalked the star, and chased people through the streets. The rep claims the papper almost killed a pedestrian.

If convicted, Butler could face up to 6 months in jail.

Butler is due in court for an arraignment on June 10.

Butler's lawyer, Blair Berk, declined comment.

Seriously people. Clearly you all are pop fans cuz you guys totally dont understand artistry. Part of artistry is getting noticed in your OWN way. Ok, well, there are a lot of glam rock people, and they aren't all exactly liked too much by certain people but loved by others, but another part of being artist, is being controversial. I bet Adam is like laughing at like half the people on here. Theres nothing wrong with screaming in some places as long has he does have some vocal talent, it's part of being a vocalist.

I think Adam is nothing far from a dragg queen and it really annoy me that Simon can't see that and send this dude home. First of all at the begining of the show they were all like you scream too much and you area bit too theatrical and it amuses me that we haven't heard that in neighther of his performances in a long time (weird huh). I really think that after Simon found out that Adam likes boys that is what drew him closer because you Simon has a little sugar in his tank also and maybe Adam just happens to float his boat,either that are their afraid that people are gonna say they are dicriminating on gay people. I just think it's f%# weird that right after that photo apeared on the internet of Adam kissing tha dude that all the judges suddenly stopped critisizing Adam drama singing (that's all I'm saying).......

Adam is scary and queer. He would be great on brodway but he is not an American Idol. The screaming is retarded and played out. I would never vote for him because he is gay. Adam & Kris are both great...but my vote is for Adam! He is a fabulous talent with a great career ahead. As far as those who need to bash Adam...open your eyes beyond his makeup & appreciate his voice....your remarks about his sexuality are uncalled for. You don't need to worry about how Adam will influence our youth. The true worry is how your close-mindeness will.

WOW++--reading all these comments really makes me think how prejudice alot of you are-not just on here but at couple of sites. You are not going to vote for Adam, just because you think he is gay? that is such a moronic comment. I am sure he doesnt walk around everyday of the week in the glam makeup, he was in a couple of shows and if anyone has been to broadway or some theatrical show, depending on what is playing--they wear makeup. This kid could sing the telephone book 100 times over Kris, dont get me wrong I like Kris but he does not have the range that Adam does, he could sound just like others on the radio. Adam does scream, he really doesnt have to , but it makes him stand out against the others, he can sing, entertain, thrill and excite alot of people, me being one of them! Tell me a singer that doesnt make some kind of funny face when they sing--Cecline Dion??? Kris's mouth bothers me when he sings, but I still like his voice. Adams moves remind of Mick Jagger, I think is a very nice looking gentleman, just because he might or might not be gay has nothing to do with talent. He should be voted for that and that alone. He is not the devil the way some of you have voiced your opinions on here. you just dont like him because of what he might be--

Ummmm....No. If we don't like Adam, it isn't necessarily because we are homophobic. I'm sure there are people who feel that way, but his screeching is tired and boring and it is in every song. What radio station will play him? There are no "glam rock" radio stations, and I'm not sure there is an audience for one. He can sing, but he is in the wrong time except for Broadway and musical theater. That is, unless someone is going to pay a lot of money to clean him all up and hide everything about his past. I did like his Smokey Robinson cover - at least he sang it and didn't scream it. Sorry, I don't think he will win. With Danny gone, I'll bet all those people who were voting for him will go to Kris. And Kris beat Adam by a million votes already before Danny was out.
