18. Everyone has their preferences. I will agree that Adam is a gifted performer and an artist in his own right. However, I liked Kris' ability to grow with the competition and his diverse musical talents. However I see Adam more with a calling on Broadway. Personally, I wouldn't be able to listen to a whole album done in his style. I have no doubt that both of them will have successful careers. However to each their own. Both of them are going to go on and have successful careers. I respect them both as artists, but I prefer Kris, just as others prefer Adam. Come on everyone, we are all adults here, shouldn't we act that way and respect the views of each other?

19. If this was about creativity, artistry and talent - then I believe Adam should have been tonight's winner. Unfortunately, it was made into something more. It is embarrassing to read some of these comments. Come on people there is no reason to be so uncool and phobic... that just makes Kris's Camp look bad and I doubt he would want to be associated with the negativity.
Why would a record company have to "mold" a recording artist and why choose a winner that is "good" and can become "great"... can it really boil down to eyeliner.... Adam is pure genius and already a star!

20. people seriously need to find hobbies or a life and stop being so concerned about other peoples lives. I think Kris Allen is great and its soo incredibly hard to make any job come true, hes a great singer and a great person and should be praised for his accomplishments, not made fun of by saying he'll be dropped by the record label.

25. I have to say Adam Lambert was all hype and very little talent. Kris sounds great and can sing rather than scream. I know there has been a recent campaign to bring the 80's back, but it's not going to happen. Leave glam rock in the past. I can see Kris having a song on the radio. In contrast, what the hell will Adam's songs sound like? I don't want to hear yelling on the radio!! Kris won because he has more talent and Adam won because he belongs on Broadway or back in the 80's.

27. California is a huge state... Arkansas--not so much. Arkansas didn't do it all with 38 million out of the estimated 100 million votes. Looks like America was sick of Adam's screaming and theatrics. No need to be bitter about who won just because Kris is married, doesn't wear eyeliner, and doesn't feel the need to paint his nails.
