8. So let me see if I understand this. He makes his living playing professional sports. His ability to do so comes from natural talent, skill, and a heleva lot of hard work (steroids did not enable him to play in the major league! They may have enhanced his ability, but they did not GIVE him the ability to begin with) and his ex-wife wants to be rewarded for that? Hmmmmmmmmmmm, why doesn't she take her adult ass and earn her own living instead of cashing on on her soon-to-be ex-husband's God given talent? She's trying to cash in as if her marriage were stock options.

When will we do away with spousal support? It is such an antiquated legal theory that serves to do nothing but unjustly reward the undeserving.

These women and men of celebs, need to stop asking for what they're not entitled to. She is asking the court to quit, being Mrs Bonds. The paycheck should stop there as far as she's concerned. Ask for the kid but not for herself.
