Beastie Boy Adam Yauch took to YouTube this morning to announce he'll be having surgery next week on a "treatable" cancerous tumor in his salivary gland -- but is only calling it a "little bit of a setback."
Though the group had to cancel upcoming shows and is pushing back their new record release, Yauch promises "We'll be back doing it soon."

Best of luck on your treatments. I'm sure its all going to be okay. Are we not lucky to live in this day where so many illnesses are overcome?
I'd like to say thank you to all the doctors and researchers out there who work to find cures for people you don't even know. The committment you have makes me very grateful to have you in my cornor. Man, thank goodness for smart people! I'm such a speck compared to you! Thank so much medical feild folks.
