We've learned L.A. County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter just arrived at the Beverly Hills medical office of Dr. Lawrence Koplin, subpoena in hand. We've learned Winter is on the hunt for Michael Jackson medical files.
We're told Winter is interested in the records of the nurse anesthetist in the office -- David Fournier. We're told Dr. Arnold Klein performed procedures on Jackson in Dr. Koplin's office and Fournier administered anesthesia.
UPDATE: Winter has just left and he confirmed he is "still looking for medical records involving Michael Jackson."

It's all a conspiracy and they are all going down. Just like dominos. The Karma God is coming after all of the greedy bastards. You can run but you can't hide!!!
The coroner does a great job dealing with the paparazzi.
But I hate how every doctor that ever dealt with Michael Jackson has something to hide. Like man up and stop being afraid of everything. You knew if MJ died from a drug overdose, and you were there prescribing unnecessary drugs to him, this investigation would happen! It's like every doctor is afraid to get into trouble.
ITS ABOUT TIME THEY CLEAN HOUSE!! GET ALL THOSE ENABLING DOCTORS ..................THOSE BASTIDS ALL NEED TO HAVE THEIR LICENSES REVOKED AND THROWN IN JAIL!!!!!!!!!!
Told you guys, this investigation is just getting started. There are so many people who have yet to be seen. It isn't over yet. More to come, just hang on.
OK, now I have to say something nice 'cuz I feel bad I posted an unrelated thread before.... Everyone on this site is so cranky today! Must be the weather.....
OK, here goes: I hope any health professional who enabled MJ goes to jail.
Happy now? I know I feel better.
Dr. David Kloth, past president of American Society of Interventionism Pain Physicians and current president of Connecticut Pain Society says The fact that the drug was administered outside a hospital or healthcare facility is âmind-boggling,â says Dr. Kenneth Elmassian, a cardiac anesthesiologist at Michigan Regional Medical Center. âYou canât go to a pharmacist, hand a prescription over and get the drug,â he says. At the same time, he adds that any licensed physician can give the medicationâthough the American Society of Anesthesiologists (of which he is a board member,) doesnât recommend that doctors not trained in anesthesiology do so, because the drug is extremely dangerous.
Part of what makes the drug so dangerous is itâs extreme variability. âThere are certain prescribe-able doses, but the reality is what a certain dose for one person may not be the certain dose thatâs going to be safe for another person,â says Dr. Elmassian. A number of factors â including age, weight, hydration â factor into the efficacy of the drug, and too much can lead to a drop in blood pressure and trouble breathing. Enough can be fatal.
Propofol is also extremely addictive. âIt actually lights up in the addiction center in the same place that alcohol and morphine and even nicotine [do],â says Dr. Kloth. However he adds that the benefit to addicts are few. âPeople abuse drugs to get high on them, [but] you donât even enjoy the high. You wake up and say, âoh shoot I missed itâ.â
When administered properly and infrequently, the drugâs risks decrease. âHaving it one time for surgery is not going to get anybody addicted,â says Dr. Kloth. âOnce you wake up in the recovery room, itâs gone. It has no bearing on your respiratory depression. If given properly, this drug is extraordinarily safeâitâs one of the safest drugs we have.â
Not, however, for Jackson. âMy prediction is that Michael Jackson will be deemed a polysubstance overdose,â says Kloth. âIt is probably possible and probably likely that he took other medications that evening.â
The consequences for the doctor who provided Jackson with the drug is dire. According to the AP, Dr. Conrad Murray allegedly admitted to police that he set Jackson up with the IV, and Dr. Kloth thinks charges of manslaughter are not inappropriate if it turns out Jackson was improperly supervised while on Profonol.
"You have given him the bullet which he shot himself with," Dr. Kloth says. "You gave him the loaded gun and said, pull the trigger.â

Go get 'em! Unfortunately, however, this "investigation" Is sorely delayed. A month??? I mean, gosh, do we think we gave them enough time? Obviously any doctor dealing with MJ will have destroyed the records by now! Duh!!! Maddening.
All these negative comments will never change the fact that Michael was loved by his parents , siblings, extended family and especially his children. These negative comments will never change that fact that underneath all the fame and money was a gentle soul loved by his many fans. And as a human being who felt betrayal, pain, and suffered with an addiction he deserves justice live everyone else. Don't like the man? Funny I would have never guessed since you spend so much time checking in on every move made.
is it some sort of coincidence that so many enablers have jewish-sounding names? Sort of reminds me of that children's story about the fleas who refused to jump off the dog. Guess what happened to ole dwag? Yep, the blood-sucking fleas bled him dead!
obviousely the massive investigation is in play. i hope lapd gets all involved. maybe mj's death will change some laws and we can at least feel better if something can come out of this senseless loss. So Sad!
