Kanye West has finally made the call.
Moments after Taylor Swift told the ladies of "The View" that as of this morning, Kanye hadn't called to apologize ... guess who decided to pick up the phone?
Reps at "The View" claim Kanye rang up Taylor right after she finished her segment and offered a big, fat apology for stealing her moment at the MTV VMAs this weekend.
Of course, Swift reportedly accepted the apology.

Also, regarding "the incident" I think Kanye was hoping to accomplish two things.
1. Do something “shocking” at the VMAs
2. Take attention away from the MJ tribute
I think Kanye ACHIEVED those two things. Everyone was in fact shocked (and appalled) and no one is talking about the MJ tribute.
The MTV VMA Michael Jackson tribute was highly anticipated and should’ve been the topic of discussion the following day. Everyone should be discussing the exceptional performance of the dancers, the MJ videos in the backdrop, and of course, Janet, but instead the focus is on the ridiculous antics of Mr. West.
It’s unfortunate that Kanye robbed four people at the VMAs. Taylor, Beyonce, Janet and Michael Jackson.

8. Come on people is it really that big of a deal? Okay, so the Taylor Swift deserved her moment, and yes Kanye should not have done that (although I do agree with his statement about Beyonce). Anyway, the princess still has her award, her big fat paycheck, and her fans. What damage was done? The only thing this has done for Taylor is; she gained sympathy from the public, which only brought her more attention than she had.
Suck it up! Let's talk about things that really matter. The Government screwed us all, wasted our tax dollars, put millions of people out of work, etc. that's exactly why this country is screwed because we find things like "Kanye West and Taylor Swift more important.

12. Kanye is suffering a meltdown from not mourning the death of his mother. he needs grief counseling. He should have already called to apologize before the View aired. he obviously had her number if he was able to call immediately after the segment. I think this was his wake up call and hopefully he gets the help needed. there are already unconfirmed reports that he has been seemingly suicidal. That is a rumor but, you never know. He really went over the top and had a meltdown on Leno.
