TMZ has learned Heidi Klum was officially docked a few precious sexy points today -- because she just had her last name legally changed from "Klum" to "Samuel."
The Victoria's Secret supermodel filed papers early last month asking permission to take on the last name of her husband, Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adelo Samuel -- she was finally given the okay today.
It could have been worse ... she could have changed her name to Heidi Olusegun.

27. Yeah, Klum matches well with Heidi and is part of her brand name. Like Tyra Banks or Claudia Schiffer. You wouldnt have them any other way.
It has nothing to do with culture, it'd be worst if she changed her last name to something like Stewart.
For the record I think what shes doing is great. But TMZ is right and her super model mystique just went a tad.

I dont know if its the lack of material or intelligence but make no mistake it is perfectly acceptable and expected that a woman should take the name of her husband. Not long ago it was out of the question that she did not.
