The anti-whaling boat Bob Barker was rammed on the high seas early this morning during a showdown with a vessel piloted by an allegedly illegal whaling crew.
According to the Sam Shepherd Conservation Society, the B.B. was blocking the shipway of a Japanese whaling fleet's factory ship when the collision occurred. One of the Japanese boats slammed into the Bob Barker, creating "a 3-foot long 4-inch deep gash in the mid starboard side."
No one was injured.
The boat was retrofitted thanks to a $5 million donation from Bob Barker, thus the name.

The cause is just but more needs to be put into the "way" SS goes after it. You can't stop them until one of two things happen...
1. They run out of game or 2. They run out of customers. Since greed will always overcome common sense and decency it time change the minds of the end user. No customer, No Production, No Killing.
And yes it can be that simple, granted not as "Newsworthy" as a near sinking or maritime battles but a much more obtainable goal.

Hunting whales is AGAINST international law, THE JAPANESE ARE BREAKING THAT LAW , THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF POACHERS. THE SEA SHEPHERD IS UPHOLDING THE LAW.
I can't believe that people are so ignorant of the facts and of the importance of protecting these whales. The crew of the Bob Barker are HEROES, they are defending our oceans. If we kill off these magnificent creatures we are doomed. Our planet is sick , how many earthquakes, storms , acts of nature do you need? To live in denial is to take part in our planets DESTRUCTIONl. SO BEFORE YOU CRITICIZE GO TO THE SEA SHEPHERD WEBSITE AND GET EDUCATED.
Bye the way your government and I assume , your PRESIDENT ares supporting Japan in its efforts to lift the moratorium on THE SLAUGHTERING OF WHALES.

Hey, SS better not to mess with Japan on high sea.
Whether its a whaling boat, of a formidable battleship, Japan has a long tradition of maritime actions.

Thank you to the crew of Sea Shepherd..they risk their lives everyday to stop the murdering and torture of these beautiful animals. Thank you Bob Barker for loving animals and your long dedication in the efforts to save all animals. If you ever watch Whale Wars you will see how these Japanese killing machines torture these magnificent whales, maybe then you will change your tune and stop joking about it!!!
